Flabbergasting. Ear-catching. A must listen, and I don't know what to even rate it! But man, this remix just oozes style.
Everything about this kept surprising me.

A gorgeous handling and delivery!! I am not the best or most experienced musical aficionado, but even I can hear the quality of the instrumentation and the personal touch on the delivery. Man, this remix never gets boring - different sections, different moods, different points of emphasis, all tied together by what seems to be a very specific goal. I could basically imagine a conductor asking for more or less from different sections as the mood/sound struck him... and by all accounts, that seems to be what's happened here!
Major props to the instrumentalists, and to the remix!

Man, I didn't even play this game and I'm loving the handling of this tune. There really aren't enough solemn, melancholy and/or pensive remixes out there. 1:19-1:51 in particular is super enjoyable as the play between the two main lines is engaging and meaningful. WELL DONE by all the remixers who helped contribute here!!

Gorgeous and thoughtful. If you want a remixer to imbue a piece with powerful emotion and a range of feeling, this is the remixer you want. Wow.

Man, do we need more pieces like this! An exploring, wide-ranged take on some of the core FF X themes that turns this into a remix that alternate depth with some moments of looking the storm in the eye and being unafraid in the gathering winds, then sitting down after and contemplating how you're still here. SUPER props for both the opening and closing, which carry all the feels. More pieces need to explore this kind of emotional range. A definite download!!

Wow. Since I was not one of the fortunate ones to experience Seiken Densetsu 3 as I should have (my love of the series is based on the very first entry), I can't hope to bring to this the kind of knowledge and love worthy of the dedication that everyone put into it, but I just know that this song is gorgeous, and the handling superb. I loved the story about it! Man, just wonderful.
On a larger note, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who contributed to this dream of an album, and double for those who never let it die. Be proud - your sacrifice was not in vain.

Gutsy! Reaching! Frickin' rocking, and I love the middle section's handling of the interweaving sections. It's like I'm getting dual-whipped by Castlevania goodness the entire time. Grab your stake and raise your whip - this does great justice with a take that needed to be really nailed to avoid falling down an endless precipice, and you nailed the jump. I swear I didn't mean to make this all full of Castlevania references. Damn impressive, guys.

A two-fer dip into some fantastic handling of core source material - really impressed to see this group extract this much fun and rocking out of these two themes. Transitions were crisp bordering on amazing (2:50-3:03 being the best example), and there's multiple sections of unique solos that aren't just random riffing but seem to be a natural extension of the core theme. A must for anyone who enjoys metal and/or Mega Man!
    Great job!!

I think this song goes for a specific vibe and just CRUSHES it. Really fun and enjoyable. Stay for the unique solos and variations of 2:05+ as well. But man, this is fun all on its own. Great job here by the remixer! No way to sit still through this one.

Points for style and execution here - man, I'm really impressed about the vision to remix this way and the moxie to pull it off. Really enjoy the adjustment sections (like 2:45-3:25); the handling reminds me of some of the best Doom remixes this site has. Yeah, maybe this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but then they're missing great guitar sections like 4:30-4:42 (so great!) as well as vocals to me that I don't need to hear the words, it's almost like another instrument.
    Unique and worth a listen!

Holy crudmuffins, this remix is just oozing vibrancy and life, particularly from 1:28 or so on - every note and adjustment seems so important and focused. I absolutely love the interplay of the different instruments - the remixer just crushes the delicate balancing act of harder and softer pulls on the source. Lindsey Stirling was a great analogy; it's sometimes catchy, sometimes beautiful, and all-around unique. Well done.

Man, I didn't know the source but I am digging the hardcore chip rework of this song! Every time I think I know where this is going it changes up on me. Man, was this fun. Really enjoyed this remix!!

Excellent stuff here!! I admit that I am one of the heathens that isn't familiar with the source (though I'm liking the description), but I don't think you need to know the source at all to be caught up in all the goodness of this remix. I really enjoy the transitions here (such as 1:25-1:35) and the solo sections are arresting (particularly 3:10+ is bananas!). But my favorite thing of this remix is the way the heavier guitar mixes with the quieter throughline. It gives a real feel of depth and touch and allows this piece to shine beyond just having some nice sections. Special props for the 5:05+ quieting finish - the perfect way to go out, in my opinion!
    A surprise gem here!

Wow, this is just wonderful. This takes what is already a nice, interesting piece and makes it into a practical suite. The handling of 1:05-2:32 has such power, and then 2:33 on changes it into such an amazing, delicate touch! In short, this really explores the piece and delivers a top-notch handling of a less common piece. I'm really, really impressed by the quality of the remix here - well done!!

Calling this trance seems almost an insult to the song, if only because this is so much more textured and interesting than some of the standard 'trance' remixes of songs. Really, I'm stunned a description could this be different, it's madness. What ISN'T madness is the easy, sinuous quality of this song. I really like how different this is from most JENOVA remixes I hear - it's smoother and more thoughtful. Impressive!!

Guitar lovers, you've found your vibe. This is straight Sonic rock, and well done at both the interpretation as well as the overall sound - it's like something right out of a Sonic set of extra levels for those players hardcore enough to earn a particularly difficult and rocking version of the Hydrocity zone. Well done!

Honestly, my only fear is that only those familiar with the source tune will truly appreciate what you've done here. That said, this is amazing for anyone who knows it and loves the game, as I do - 1:45-1:55 alone made me sit up and take notice, as I suddenly realized this was going to get even more ambitious than 'just' an ethereal take on an already ethereal theme, and man does this mix go places I never dreamed. The call-in/call-out of 4:35+ and interweaving of different instruments and levels is really thoughtful and at times approaches breathtaking. If there ever was a song to sit back and listen to in the dark of night while looking out the window at the stars, this is it.
Lastly, I'm aware this is a place for music, but I must mention the writeup by the remixer. Just crushed it.

I don't know a damn bit whether this is samba or Brazilian or big band or what the hell this is, I only know two things: that this remixer put a ton of work into this project and actually pulled it off with something like 15 live musicians, and this piece is just darned FUN!
    Congratulations and well done!!

Wow, I don't know how many people like me missed this posting as I was traveling for the holidays, but oh my heavens is this an amazing track, and one of my favorites on the album! The whole feel of this piece is so in line with Secret of Mana that it just hurts. The beautiful vocal work and brass really combine into something greater than the sum of their parts, which I think is one of the best praises you could give this type of arrangement. Everything, even the name, just crushes what the remixers were going for - I love the work, and am so impressed at the care and power they put into it!! What a performance!!

Wow, what a feel on this piece! Stay for 0:50+ and you won't be disappointed at the way this evolves and feels. Reminds me of the happiest tunes out of Final Fantasy I, almost - a kind of hopeful belief with a tinge of adventure. The warmth in this performance and presentation is what really sells me here. So happy you made it to the finish line - well done both of you!!

What just happened?! I'm sitting on my @$$ trying to reconcile this piece with the source. Okay, so doubtlessly this is one of the most innovative/crazy takes on the SoM source you could possibly come up with. At times I really felt like I fell into Sonic The Hedgehog 2/3! But holy crap, at least listen to 1:33-2:01, which is just a wonderfully dirty run. I went back and listened to that section three times!
Overall, I have to give props even if I'm still flabbergasted how anyone came up with this - a vision outside the norm, thought, and executed... to excellence!
