  1. Thank you very much! Anything done by Tom Harrell is often both under-appreciated and under-played! It's a real shame!
  2. Very nice! Really reminds me of the old Nintendo commercials that used to be on in the 90's where they had the reel of all the awesome games available. Thank you for sharing!
  3. Thank you very much! You pretty much caught on to exactly what I was going for with the piece!
  4. Hey everybody! Just finished my latest original please check it out and let me know what you think! Baktun The Maya Long Count Calendar uses Baktun to represent 20 Katun cycles which is about 394.26 tropical years. On December 21, 2012 the current (13th) Baktun will end and, according to some, the world with it. The main focus of the song is to celebrate the end of the 13th and the beginning of the new cycle with a middle section dedicated to the supposed end of the world. Enjoy!
  5. First off, awesome job! I really think the overall idea is very nice and mellow. In regards to a live performance I'd really like to give the sax part a go on my trumpet with a harmon in as I feel it would suit the song well and solve the lack of a live instrument. Let me know if you're interested to give it a shot!
  6. I would love any additional feedback you all have as this is my first submission and would like to know what to improve upon in regards to mixing and mastering.
  7. I've done a couple of rough mixes for it today and I think I'm going to be going with a Jazz waltz. Do you play any jazz piano?
  8. Ah sorry! I'm new to this whole process. I look forward to seeing everybody's arrangements!
  9. If the spot is still open I'd like to do a remix of "The Story of the Stolen Star Spirits."
  10. Awesome! I just posted my remix! Let me know what you think!
  11. Hey Everybody! My name is Lauren and I've been playing trumpet for about 11 years now. I just recently graduated from University with a degree in Jazz Performance and am now looking for different avenues in which to contribute my music. I've been an avid listener at OCReMix since my freshman year in college and finally decided to submit my first remix and connect with the community! While my specialty is Jazz, I am proficient in all forms of music and am eager to work with you all. If you need a trumpet player on one of your projects just send me a PM and I would love to discuss the possibilities with you. -majorjazzman
