  1. Not sure exactly how to define the genre yet, not important right now! Here is the link, click me I couldn't remember how to embed soundcloud player or if it was possible. This is my first time really using these types of orchestra sounds - I came to this forum specifically because of the expertise in the area. Taking all tips/feedback with a grain of salt! Thank you!
  2. https://soundcloud.com/basedesire/people-imprisoned-by-destiny/s-OcCWN Song updated. I would really appreciate some feedback!
  3. Thanks for replying, I checked out your stuff! It is very professional which is awesome. Yes this is non-profit! The style I am after is very poetic/dramatic. Kind of like Tidus from FFX (http://youtu.be/d7M1_gjqqws?t=1m57s) -- If this is of interest to you then great!
  4. Hey everyone, I am not sure if this is the right area of the forum or not. I am working on a remix of a Chrono Cross song (Work in Progress: https://soundcloud.com/basedesire/people-imprisoned-by-destiny/s-OcCWN) and I was wondering if anyone would be up for recording a simple speech recording of them reciting the passages at the opening scene of the game. (Or the intro before you start maybe) The passage: What was the start of all this? When did the cogs of fate begin to turn? Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now, From deep within the flow of time... But, for a certainty, back then, We loved so many, yet hated so much, We hurt others and were hurt ourselves... Yet even then we ran like the wind, Whilst our laughter echoed, Under cerulean skies... I cannot guarantee I will use your take, nor can I guarantee once I have it that I will like it in the song.(Although I am quite confident I will.) But I would be very appreciative and credit will be given. I figured it would only take a few minutes for someone to provide this. Thanks for your time!
  5. https://soundcloud.com/basedesire/people-imprisoned-by-destiny/s-OcCWN Hey everyone, I updated the track. (I edited the original post too.)
  6. Hello guys, give this a listen! Really chilled and emotional. http://youtu.be/ImxbUISSpJw
  7. http://youtu.be/hz9cZM2cTB4 Hope you guys like it.
  8. This is beautiful, and I think it would sound fantastic in credits of a game! Really pretty melodies in here. I think the other guy posted some good advice about bringing back B, but yeah, that was awesome man, would listen again!
  9. https://soundcloud.com/basedesire/evaporate-edit-1/s-B0VkV Hey guys, would love some feedback on the track I am working on. I plan to do more vocal takes, I just took 1 or 2 so I could keep working on the track with the concept down. What do you guys think of this? Constructive feedback appreciated.
  10. The link you posted to is awesome, that is really pretty! In the OP's track I wasn't so much talking about other melodies or harmony, but about the actual FX (Like the FFXI spell samples) -
  11. Sorry to be a bit of a noob, I never played the megaman games. So each 'master', has a theme song? (Stone man, etc), and then you pick a gauntlet theme song, and then you have to mix those 2 themes into one remix?
  12. I really liked this, I think my only complaint would be sometimes there is almost 'too much' going on. Sometimes it can take away from a powerful hook or melody that really wants to shine through. I would filter or EQ all the FX / Noise samples and make them more subtle, maybe use them less as well. I Think this was great though, most unique zi'tah I have ever heard.
