1. Hey everyone, Kent here from Ongaku Overdrive! On Saturday, December 2nd at The Geek Easy in Orlando, FL, we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mega Man franchise with an event called Mega Mania: 30 Years of the Blue Bomber. At night, there will be concerts featuring The Megas, Bit Brigade (doing a Mega Man 2 speedrun concert), Mega Ran, and Kadesh Flow. During the day, there will be a bazaar with Mega Man video game setups, artists, vendors, themed drinks at The Geek Easy bar, prize raffles, and a costume contest with a $100 prize for the best Mega Man-related costume. It's going to be an awesome time and I hope to see you all there for everlasting peace! Get Equipped with Tickets ~ RSVP.
2. I just found this thread. I have been meaning to post on the forum for a while. I am Kent Ward from Orlando. Liontamer knows me! I am a long time fan of OC Remix and video game music, I'm currently playing Final Fantasy V and working on a show that showcases the best of Orlando nerd music. I hope to be a part of the discussion here on OC Remix.
3. I'm new to the forum, but a long time fan of OC Remix and I've met several of the guys at events like CEO Gaming, Anime Weekend Atlanta, and MAGFest. I've even put on shows that have featured OC Remix contributors. I run a podcast called the Nerd Music Meltdown, where I interviewer people in the nerd music community, particularly friends I've made over the years. Anyways, I spoke with Jarel at MAGfest, and mentioned I have an episode of the podcast with Liontamer, but apparently he didn't know about it. I just remembered I was supposed to post it on here. What's crazy is not that it's my downloaded and listened to episode, but that it's done by an absurd margin when I have some really rad guests like Mega Ran, Armcannon, Super Guitar Bros, and more. I have been told that my interview is the most definitive discussion on OC Remix to date so check it out! I'll try to be on more. I have been following album releases and really loved Window to the Stars.
