  1. A bit late to the party here, but I was very excited to see a new remix from ABG. I suppose good things can still happen in this world. Thank you for blessing us with a new track!
  2. I logged in just to say Man, this is definitely what I needed to relax after getting home from work on a Thursday night. Haven't heard a jazzy hit of this track since The One-Ups. Love it.
  3. Honestly, I liked everything about the track except the vocals & lyrics. It feels way too distracting and forced in, what has always been to me, a very calming (thus mantra) track. Whisper and Mantra never struck me as a track that needed words. Whispers of the forest, maybe.
  4. +1 on a great comeback from a great remixer I'm getting a lot of They Might Be Giants vibes from the lyrics, though that's partially the nature of Katamari as well. The surrealism is real!
  5. The title doesn't make much sense without the trash talking opening. That being said, the rendition of Sakura's theme in this song is very groovy.
  6. I forgot how great Final Fantasy Adventure was until this song shuffled up on my playlist a few times in the past week or so. This is a wonderful song that represents a powerful game. Great work, BGC. I had to watch the FFA ending again on Youtube only to fight back some tears. Definitely give it a playthrough sometime.
  7. Man, I SLEPT on this track years ago, but now it's one of my favorite tracks on HD Remix. Congrats, Neostorm!
  8. 'cause they can sell more this way.
  9. I still don't see how the hell they'd pull off a "World of StarCraft" anyway. What happens if you want to play as Zerg? You start off as a Larva and evolve into what? You're just gonna die. And if they have you play it at a Cerebrate angle, with control over a colony or some such, that'd kind of be like playing normal SC.
  10. It doesn't even feel like it's five minutes long. There definitely should be more remixes of this quality.
  11. Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. I find the first two references quite fitting... Frog: Green pastures, quiet waters.. A nature scene, as well as the restoration of soul. Samus: All alone, against the Metroids... I suppose the last verse can fit for either Terra or Link.
  12. Also, the whispering of Biblical verse in the end is a nice polish. I think it really magnifies the title a lot more. I've often wondered what runs through the minds of heroes as their time comes. Well, clearly, their brave thoughts are Beneath the Surface Psalm 23:1-3 (Frog) 23:4 (Samus) 23:6 (Terra, perhaps? Locke? Anyone who's recognized in Narshe... Oh, that's from Zelda, you say?... Could've sworn it was Narshe. It sounds like the drawn-out sighs. Well, if that's not the case, then Link fits the greave here.)
  13. I agree with what Wanderer has to say about the cameos. They'll make an experienced listener grin and it doesn't take away from the song at all. They even flow right into each other. From what I could hear was: Frog, Metroid, and Narshe.
  14. Everytime I hear the bass in this song, the only word that I feel describes the bass is "hungry". I like this remix.
