  1. While I don't usually "like" people or pages on Facebook, I figured this would be a good exception. Seeing as he's been a (if not THE) main contributor to a world that I enjoy and have shared with others, it'd be a wonderful surprise to win this. Sign me up! (I've already liked his page...)
  2. I've been waiting for the shirts and hoodies to be restocked for a while. It's about time I got some OC Gear to wear!
  3. Be-a-utiful! I've seriously listened to this almost all day long...and I'm still loving it! Sephfire did a great job arranging the piece and GrayLightning did just as great a job mixing. pixietricks though...well, she tried...and the results are some of the most heavenly sounds I have ever heard. When listening to the piece, I can easily imagine an angelic creature sitting on a rock with her toes barely in the water of a lake, singing sweet melodies and thinking of innocent little what-nots. Pixie, Jill, you have a great voice. I think I'm falling in love with you. (Just kidding...don't take me TOO seriously...sheesh!) But yeah, keep up the great work. I'm definitely loving it. And to those that dislike the song because of the lyrics, look at it this way: These words are coming from the minds of Yuna and Tidus. Jill did a great job of capturing the emotion that those two characters felt and then portraying it. That's my take on it, at least. Once again, great job you three. Keep on sending in remixes like this and I'll die a happy man.
  4. *cries* I've enjoyed all the songs lately, that's for sure. But this one...it just brought a tear to my eye. I'll always be a fan of some rippin' guitars, ESPECIALLY when they're done right. Here, we've got a great solo surrounded by a beautiful intro and a just as wonderful outro. Then you've got some vocal work that, in my mind, takes the place of what most people would put in a synth for. Me likey. Me likey much! And I haven't even touched on the drums or any of the other aspects, all of which were done perfectly. Darangen, my hat's off to you. Thanks for adding a kickarse tune to this site!
  5. First off, I'd like to apologize to DCT and his "crew" for having this board become grounds for, well, ya know. Just a reminder: Even the best artists out there have "haters", so you're in good company. Anyways, to help lift your mood, I have a little story for you. A few people recently visited me while I was listening to this song, and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. They had no idea it was a video game remix until afterwards, when I told them. In fact, one of them (who also happens to be the primary hip-hop listener in the group) asked if it was a new song on the radio, which probably means it's a pretty darn good mix. Either way you look at it, though, you've got fans. I hope to hear more gems from you in the future...
  6. Thank you, DCT (and unnamed "Just Us" member)! I'm not a huge fan of rap/hip-hop, but I've been trying to compile a few songs to put onto a CD for whenever one of my friends is in my car, and this remix is most definitely going to make its way onto it. It's nice to hear the original piece done in a style one's not accustomed to hearing it in, especially when its done well. Great job!
