3. completed Final Fantasy 7 - Fighting (Metal Cover)
Sbeast posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Hey all, I just finished my third cover from the Final Fantasy series - "Fighting" I've also covered: "Still More Fighting" from FF7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odkxjXxugRY "Terra" from FF6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qgc3Fm-EjY -
Here's a remix that started out quite close to the original, then took a turn to the funky side around the middle Since i'm thinking about submitting it i'm looking for honest feedback about arrangement, production quality etc. And especially: is it too far from the original to be submitted here? What do you guys think?

This blew my mind, I thought I'd share. The sound quality is excellent too. Can anyone name the tracks in the Final Fantasy video? I'm not too familiar with the soundtrack of the franchise (except FF10) Final Fantasy - Donkey Kong Country 2 -

These recordings came from the premiere of my VGM-based jazz group, The Hard Modes, on 9/30 (same as my last post). This particular arrangement was inspired not only by Uematsu's original cut, but also by the ridiculously awesome cut from the piano collections album. Enjoy! If you'd like to read more about the project as a whole you can also check out my website. Thanks for listening!

"Final Fantasy Main Theme" in the style of "Top Gun Anthem"
krzuker posted a topic in ReMix Requests
Ok so I've had this idea for a long time but never had the means to make it and one day I was poking around on the OC Remix site here and I finally stumbled on this "requests" thing so I made an account and here it is: What I want is a version of the Final Fantasy main theme in the style of "Top Gun Anthem" so the guitar line instead of the Top Gun theme would be the Final Fantasy theme. And it might be possible to incorporate the Final Fantasy Prelude into the synth parts? Heck, it might be possible to squeeze other iconic Final Fantasy themes in there too. Steve Stevens goes pretty wild on that guitar. It's very important for this remix that the guitar and synth tones be just right to evoke that cheesy 80s action movie anthem feel. Does anyone have any idea how to make this happen? It would make me extremely happy. I can offer money? Or like if someone would tell me how it could be done I might be able to do it myself. Thanks for reading! -
Hello there, everyone. I have very recently become interested in the Final Fantasy series. I have watched speedruns on 7 and 9, and I an currently watching a full walk-through on 9. I have played 3 (6) for the SNES Classic and it's actually fun to play (just mash Fire Beam!) (Moogles are OP). So, for the PS1/PS2 games, which one should I start with first? I have the game guides to VIII, X, X-2, XII I shall also start playing Chrono Cross soon.

Thought everyone would get a kick out of this; rock/metal cover of “Devil’s Lab” from FFVI. Let me know what y’all think! I’m particularly pumped on the solo in this one, haha.

Hey everyone, I recently decided to try to mash two Final Fantasy songs into one, cause I just thought it might end up cool. I'd be happy to hear any thoughts or feedback on it.

Hey all, First time posting here. I wanted to share a remix I made of Anxious Hearts off the Final Fantasy VII OST. I've been listening to these remixes for years and finally am able to help contribute! You can check it out here: Also made a 'music video' on YouTube which you can find here:

Hey all! I just finished a Final Fantasy XV I made in a trailer-ish orchestral style with FL Studio. Do you think this could work for OCR? Or is it too similar to the original?? Also, would love to hear what you guys think are the things I could've done better, if you have the time for some open feedback/criticism! Hello to OCREMIX Community. This is Marcel Gherman alias Megatone, a musician and prose writer. I wish to present you my album Realms of The Cosmic Tree, in the style of old school Japanese fantasy RPG games. The album is inspired by my science-fiction modular novel Multiverse and my cycle of fantasy prose Chroinicles of Pandava. Last track on the album is a short fragment from an audiobook based on my fantasy story The Path to Avalonia. Enjoy! https://archive.org/details/arboruniversalis

Hi everyone, It's nice to be a part of the forums! My friend and I started our youtube channel a while back (~3 years ago) and after going on a hiatus, we've decided to come back with a vengeance. This past week, we posted 3 stockpiled songs, along with 2 brand new ones. On top of that, we set up a soundcloud account and made our covers downloadable on there. Here is a link to the most recent song, Cid's Theme from Final Fantasy VII: We've got 12 covers up at this point. I think that our work has been steadily improving in quality, and one of these days we'll certainly be submitting a cover to OCRemix in hopes to make it on to the roster! I feel that our Stickerbush Symphony and Cid's Theme are getting pretty close to the minimum point of quality that we want to meet before submitting. At any rate, I hope that some of you find pleasure in listening to our covers, we look to be posting a new one every Monday (known as Clangemonday). Looking forward to hearing from you guys Thanks and <3 to you all, Clangemonium

I've made a series of songs here over the last month. I'm wondering if any of these songs need improvement or not. These were made for a video game in mind. Which mainline game would you like to hear next? And why do you think it would be a great soundtrack? Provide your opinions here!

First of all, GREAT JOB GUYS!! Keep it up, I can't wait to listen to the finished product! I think that Final Fantasy VIII has some of the best music since VI and VII. Any word when 8 will get the OCRemix treatment? How about FF3? Or 10? They have great soundtracks, all done by the genius Nobuo Uematsu! Can't wait for the full realization of the FFV collection!

This song is sampled from the score Attack from Final Fantasy X. Made in FL Studio, Utilizes two pianos, two synth from Sytrus, and a standard drumset with an 808. Also has a few delays and reverbs. Not really sure how to describe the sound or genre I guess a blend of pop and hip hop. Feedback and criticism as usual are always welcome. Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy.
