  2. Hey guys, another contribution done by my Video Game Music collective REMEMBER CITADEL, this time turning the Main Theme of BF4 into a more Epic Rock version: Feel free to comment and stay updated by visiting our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband/?ref=bookmarks Cheers Stefan of RemCit
  3. Yo! I uploaded new cover on YouTube. Time for some tactical cardboar...krhm i mean espionage action! :D. In this arrangement, i focused more on drums so i could bring some 80's or 90's feel for it. Feedback is appreciated! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  4. Hello! I finished new cover for Pokemon - Bicycle Theme. I recorded some strings to spice my lead guitar parts, so the whole arrangement would sound much fuller. Feedback is welcome :)! Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:
  5. Yo! I published my first collaboration cover with Arzie Van Dee :)! It's Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily's Castle Theme. Our cover has quite a lot improvisation and original touch, which bends the original theme into a new direction. All feedback is welcome and appreciated!! =) Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:
  6. This is a cleaned up version of a remix I made for PRC 352. I put a lot of work into this track, probably more than I've done for any other track I've made so far, and I am considering submitting it to OCR. The source is a relatively unknown Genesis game called Warsong. I'd never heard of the game or the piece before, but it was so fun and energetic I just had to remix it. 7. Hey all. I recently finished my metal arrangement of Vampire Killer from the original Castlevania game. Featuring live bats...(maybe fake ones). Enjoy!
  8. Introduction For the past few years I have been working on an arrangement album of music from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and it is finally complete! It features 12 songs of metal/rock covers of various themes and songs from the original score. This is a FREE, non-profit album and is not affiliated with Warner Bros, New Line Cinema, Reprise Records, Howard Shore, Peter Jackson or anyone else related to the original score of these films. 9. Hello! This is my attempt at making a remix for the notorious F.A.T.E. music from the MMO Final Fantasy XIV. I was going for an old school Arch Enemy (Burning Bridges era) and Nightwish feel, so it's heavy as fudge but with piano and violin accompaniment to make it also soaring and epic. https://soundcloud.com/dremorachurl/the-second-eyes Here's the original track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJSM4tAeEAA
  10. It's time to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the very popular "Metal Gear" franchise with a remix of a track from a criminally underrated entry in the series. Saxophone: @HankTheSpankTankJankerson Bass/Jazz Guitar: @Arvangath Rhodes/Piano/Harp: @Peíorele Guitar: @mattmatrice Programming: classic_gamer_76 Mixing/Mastering: @timaeus222 Artwork by Lia Perrone. Huge thanks to everyone involved -- as well as @The Nikanoru -- for making this happen. You guys are AWESOME!
  11. A song inspired by classic 90s anime openings. I've been working on this track for a while. the mix is almost finalized, I'm only waiting on finding a saxophonist who'd be willing to record the saxophone parts. For now, the DVS VST will have to suffice. Please feel free to leave any feedback. All constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged, thanks.
  12. One of my favourite games of all time with an awesome soundtrack. My brother recorded some funny footage to go with it. 6 Sonics on a killing spree... I may do more of this soundtrack in the future in different styles. Let me know what you think of it, thanks!
  13. Hello Guys, posting my first real piece of work that I feel like I can truly be happy with game-music wise, it's a remaster of the 4th level theme from Metal Slug 3, as in it stays more or less with the original source material, however all of the original instruments were redone with either higher-quality samplers or recorded with real guitars and bass. The track itself is looped once but it does have a definite ending piece worked in, as this song was basically a testing ground for me to really get my mix and mastering workflow just right, I have much more detailed remixes planned for the future. Tracked, Mixed and Mastered in REAPER through a Focusrite Scarlet 2i4 with Audio Techinica ATM-M50X Headphone Monitors and the IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitors.
  14. Just found this site, it's nice to see somewhere dedicated to this kind of thing. Here is my remix of Ryu's SFII Theme, I'm looking for feedback. Thanks People
  15. It's pretty simple so I thought I'd do a quick and dirty record of the guitars, but I'm not sure where to go with it from here. Maybe thinking of transitioning into Wart's theme or just ending it with a end level jingle but I'm not sure.
  16. Hey guys, just submitted something I've been working on for a while. Couldn't get the Rainbow Road theme out of my head so decided it was time to take the guitar to it and do a cover. https://youtu.be/0iFy4PJ35aI
  17. I made a medley of all of the stage music from the NES Ninja Gaiden 2. Since this isn't a remix but a medley, I figured it didn't belong in the remixes forum. It's also almost 15 minutes long!
  18. I've always loved the soundtracks from Mega Man X series and it was also one of my favorite games. Got inspired and decided to try some Metal arranges for the tracks in this game. I know it's been done a lot, but rock/metal just fits soo well with the Megaman series. Hoping to get some feedback/thoughts for this track. Would love to hear what y'all think about the arrangement and instrumentation as this is some areas of improvement for me. The mixing part is not done yet and no eq and effects on the drums. Original I'm also working on more tracks from Mega Man X 1 and hope to compile those to make an album. Hope y'all enjoy it >:) \m/
  19. In a world where Mega Man 7's intro theme and Big Blue are combined - Mega Man kicks Captain Falcon's ass and joins the F-Zero Grand Prix... Lyrical idea given by @OceansAndrew over on Twitter when I was agonizing over it. I've been screwing with this for awhile, any comments on the mix before I submit it to the hallowed halls of OverClocked ReMix I'm always down for FEEDBACK! Source1 source2 Download for those who want it vs YT video: http://bit.ly/megafalcon Lyrics: High speed racing Burned in his blood But now It's in my circuits I feel the need for speed I push on the throttle Rock it like a shuttle Roll into first place I will never lose a race Pun ch through the sky, like a falcon above It mirrors the endless sea below me Kick through the pack Come up from the back I don't think I'll be the same Adrenaline flowing' Or at least I assume so Show me your moves So I can show you mine And Keep you in second place I'll take the first with grace You might get small taste In this battle and chase! I received this power by winning a fight So I may as well put it to good use! Punch through the sky, like a falcon above It mirrors the endless sea below me Kick through the pack Come up from the back I don't think I'll be the same I received this power by winning a fight So I may as well put it to good use!
  20. Hey guys! Just looking for some general feedback on this remix. I'm at that point where I'm not too sure what else to be adjusting / paying attention to. I feel like the arrangement / mix are in pretty solid spots, but I usually end up forgetting about / missing something. Always good to have another pair of ears. Of the top of my head, I know I want to go back to a few of the synth parts and make 'em a bit more entertaining to listen to / more dynamic. (Also heads up, I think listening to the stream on box distorts the sound a bit) Thanks in advance for your time. https://app.box.com/s/a2gcbj5uau85sn6mlx0kb5xog16dscm5
  21. We want to thank the Community for allowing us to post here and be critiqued. We also want to thank everyone who supported us and helped us to get here. we want to thank our Producer at Rogue Studios. This is a track from our upcoming album, TBA
  22. So I am really stepping out of my orchestral/classical background with this game. The game is a challenging space racer title and the director of it really loves synthwave so I made sure the synthetic sound was in every track. However, I wanted to use acoustic sounding elements mixed in. My influences for this are Masashi Hamauzu and 65daysofstatic (No Man's Sky). These tracks are in their very VERY early stages so I plan to make changes. I hope those that listen really enjoy the music and maybe leave a comment to critique.
  23. https://soundcloud.com/fazzakins/buff-trump-with-a-grudge The inspiration for this came out of nowhere, while I was trying to figure out how to make decent synths with NI Massive. For some reason, one of the sounds reminded me of this song. Since I was already recording metal-ish things it wasn't too much of a stretch to try and recreate this theme myself, with some flourishes. Someone on YouTube commented that Geese looks (and acts) quite a lot like Donald Trump -- this was before he was elected President, of course. Seems quite apt to title it after him now. Even though Geese is stacked and angry and Trump is mostly just angry. Any feedback, I'm all ears!
