  1. Hello OCR! Long time! I have for you a house remix of the I used sidechaining in this mix for the first time, I would definitely like some reviews/feedback on this mix! Normally I won't work on covers and remixes anymore, but because of the use of new techniques, I am open to suggestions and directions. Thank you in advance, T-Ape
  2. Here is the tune: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0HBVVMkO8NM It's the Classic Super Mario Theme remixed. I just can't find the full version nor the name of who remixed it. Any help?
  3. Hey Everyone! I'd appreciate any love, suggestions and opinions you have on this track! Help us make even better VG remixes! https://soundcloud.com/panchimusicofficial/sun-moon-song-of-storms-panchi-remix
  4. This is a little remix of one of my favourite games from the Final Fantasy 7 series I'm working at since a few months. "Wings Of Freedom" is my interpretation of the OST "The Price Of Freedom". I wanted to create a remix which is a bit more feeling, but also goes into a stronger rock ballad later on - a good track for combining some genres without getting lost of the soul und background of the track. It begins with a little live recorded piano solo (played this just by ear - it contains also a nice melody that only appears about one time in the whole game), followed by a calm viola part which goes over into a part with a harp, guitars, bass and drums and which leads into a stronger, soulful rock ballad with several electric guitars towards the end. The rest of informations that might be interesting for listeners and remixers is in the description of the Youtube upload. It's also the first remix I've created a video (with ingame scenes) for. Hope you and especially the fans of Crisis Core - Final Fantasy 7 enjoy it. 5. (if i am breaking any forum rules, remove this post please) Hello, i am new on this forum, i'm 16 years old and i am looking for someone who thinks it's funny to remix and would like to remix a little short track for me to something bigger. I don't mix and i have no idea how to. I have been scavenging for a forum with a "remix request" section, i don't exactly expect anyone to do this for me (you won't get a reward), but it's worth a shot to ask: 2 years ago, i had this app to my ipad called autorap, in my school, i ran up with a mic and the ipad to a friend and asked to just rap the shit out of this goddamn beat, he owned it (considering he improvised), we were all hyped. So bla bla bla we all moved on with our lifes started on some new schools bla bla bla. Now, a few people from my old school are considering to arrange a reunion party, which is epic of course. The first thing one of them asked was "Yo lets hear F2's (his "callsign") rap all night long then and just party to it", so i replied "yo ill make a remix of it so we can actually party to it, its a bit short for partying and its not really the kind of song to party to". Of course i was just joking around, but then i thought "hmm, maybe there is people out there on the internet who just enjoys remixing random stuff". So, that lead me here, on this forum. ANYWAYS enough about my life story. I am requesting someone, to make a 2-4 minute remix of this little track: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c6tpwaoc2k2zcs8/Autorap track.wav?dl=0. As you can hear, the mic is bad, the recording is bad, there is some weird "click" sounds in the background and all that. All i am asking, is for someone to make a decent remix, it does not have to sound really good, just something with bass and a proper beat. I wouldn't be publishing this anywhere (no lawsuits for copyright issues and so on..), so, it would be totally fine if you mixed it with other party songs (whatever suits you guys best). This is probably a silly request, i don't expect anything, but as i said, it's worth a shot right? Best regards; Tor Jakobsen
  6. All the spiders gather around and clap along to the beat. You try to struggle and escape...but nothing happens Muffet approaches you... " Would you like something to drink? We have water, milk, juice, spiders, Dr. Pepper...?" "Spiders?" "Spiders it is, then!" "No! That's not what---" But she was already pouring a brimming cup of spiders

  9. Happy New Year everybody! To celebrate, I'm releasing a brand new ReMix of the Naruto main theme: I will give a heads-up that this contains significant elements of DUBSTEP, but definitely not anything like dubstep you are probably familiar with. Whatever your tastes are, it's the new year, so let's try to keep an open mind to any and all music! As a background, I wrote a Naruto ReMix before, in 2012: I look back on it, and I really do still like what I did in 2012. The production wasn't particularly impactful, and the dubstep execution was only half-decent, but the composition was surprisingly good on the guitar. However, I realized that I could do *much* better today on the general production polish, as well as on the execution of dubstep. So, I wrote this while in my first semester of grad school, in three months, using mainly u-he Zebra2, Xfer Records Serum, 4Front TruePianos, Impact Soundworks' Juggernaut and Resonance libraries, and various commercial drum samples. This combines cinematic and dubstep aesthetics to create a nuanced, tasteful feel on the low-energy sections, and an aggressive, all-out soundscape on the drops. There was particularly special attention to detail on the dynamics, the "size" of the sound design, and just trying to get every aspect of this mix to be as polished as possible. As usual, I accept any and all opinions, but please keep them civil.
  10. Hi Here is my version of Collision Chaos Good Future JP/EU version of Sonic CD. I hope you will enjoy Original version :
  11. Hey OC Remix folks! We are DrKrake vs Jellyfish. We've been remixing video game music for quite a while (since 2009), but never really felt the itch to submit anything to OC Remix. Instead, we had a short-lived run on Newgrounds and mostly only uploaded our tracks on YouTube on random occasions. For this Christmas, we decided to release all of our stuff in a big free package and did so in the Super Musical Entertainment System! It's a massive collection of 33 tracks spanning various electronic music genres - trance, goa, house, hardstyle, and everything inbetween. You can grab it (for free, of course) on Bandcamp: drkrakevsjellyfish.bandcamp.com Most (but not quite all) tracks are VGM remixes. As a little special for the OC Remix forum, I'd like to list all tracks with their original sources: 147 (Intro) - not a remix, but uses samples from F-Zero X (N64) and Nagano Winter Olympics '98 (N64) Welcome to Marihuana Kart - trancy remix of the Mario/Luigi/Royal Raceway themes from Mario Kart 64 (N64) Voll Auf Stern - short remix of the infamous Starman tune from many many Mario games Fuckin' Party - hardstyle-ish remix based on the Cameroon theme in Super Soccer (SNES) Snowland - trance-ish remix of the Frappe Snowland theme from Mario Kart 64 (N64) Finish Line - trancy remix of the Mario Circuit theme from Super Mario Kart (SNES) Super Club Bros - housy remix of the infamous main theme of Super Mario Bros (NES) Ein Erfolg - short remix of the Level Clear theme from Super Mario Bros (NES) Romanina - trancy remix based on the Romania theme in Super Soccer (SNES), uses Nina's voice sample from Tekken 3 (PSX) Stellungswechsel - short remix of the Change Court theme from Super Tennis (SNES) Tor für Deutschland - football goal theme based on the Ireland (nope, not Germany ) theme in Super Soccer (SNES) Clowns R Funneh - not a VGM remix, but a remix of the Clown College theme from The Simpsons Archives - psytrance-ish remix of the Archives theme from Goldeneye (N64) How High Can You Get? 12. Hi, I'm an eccentric Electronic musician and remixer. I was curious how one arranges/remixes 3 or more sources into one coherent and melodic mix. I think it's so cool when someone does that and would love to do it myself. Got any tips (I'd really appreciate it)? Here's a nice Kingdom Hearts example of someone achieving this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8HoMQVVn5c
  13. Samus Aran: the prolific bad-ass from the Metroid series and my personal favorite Nintendo character. I recently started replaying the older Metriod games and forgot how awesome this theme and level was. Watch out Ridley and Kraid there is a new bad-ass on this planet now. This very much a work in progress!! I am still not happy with the transition from Brinstar Depths back in to the regular Brinstar theme I am also still looking for a better space lead for the main theme and a way to work in the main theme during the dubstep parts. I am also considering adding the Super Metriod prologue intro to the beginning and possibly the during the transition from Brinstar Depths into the regular Brinstar theme. Anyway, I appropriate any feedback.
  14. Man....it's been a while hasn't it? 16. I love EarthBound and the music it has. Unfortunately, if it ever came around to me trying to remix every EarthBound song, I can't say I'd enjoy doing so. Saturn Valley in particular isn't that interesting to me, but for some reason, I figured I'd give it a shot. Original Remix
  17. O Yes my Darlings! Fret no longer for I, Mettaton, am finally here for all my glorious fans! This kind of a work in progress but I would like some back before I continue working on it. Thanks!
  18. Majora's Mask Astral Observator remixed with analog and vintage sounds Good Listening and give me your opinion Original Track :
  19. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/665194 A request from a close friend. I was aiming for a Dance approach for this one, seeing how I thought it would fit her since she's so young. I'd like to try the game sometime, hope you all enjoy!
  20. I am working on an undertale remix album and this was the first song i decided to do. This is also my first attempt at DNB so I would like to know how I did. Thanks!
  21. So, there was a new user over in the LMMS community who produced a song that had a great basis that I felt deserved a remix. Taking some synths I had programmed over a year ago (around when I first started doing music) for a videogame inspired theme, I gave the original song a nice overhaul and made this remix. Any input is greatly appreciated! Note: Don't let the title of the song be a put off, I personally would have renamed it to something else had it been my own track to begin with.
  22. Hola soy nuevo aqui . y quisiera compartirles mi trabajo de un remix de Donkey Kong . espero les guste
  23. The mastering was kind of rushed, but I'm still really proud of it! I don't see many remixes of K.K. Slider songs, so I'm working on an album of K.K. remixes. I submitted my first one to OC but never heard back, so this time I'm just gonna post it in the forums. Hope you enjoy! Any requests for other K.K. songs I should cover? It doesn't have to be exclusively metal, since I compose in different genres frequently.
