Honestly, I have about 300 hours logged so far, and hope to get more. Really, it pains me that the songs from Pokemon have gotten little attention. There are a few battle songs to consider from this generation: The Legendary Pokemon Battle song, http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/ds/LegendaryBattleDS.mid The Champion Battle song, http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/ds/Battle_Champion_PMDP.mid The Galactic Commander Battle song, http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/ds/PKMN-D_P-GalaticCommanderMetal.mid Palkia/Dialga Battle song, (I can't find it anywhere in MIDI form... ) Heck, a nice remake of some regional music would be great too! Take these: Route 202 Theme song, (I can see a nice airy orchestrated remix...) http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/ds/Route_202.mid Twinleaf Town Theme song, (Maybe go into this nice airy song also?) http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/ds/Futaba_Town.mid Now, I lack any real skills at remixing or composing. Once I've successfully hacked my way through my first mix (which will either be Metroid or something else, depending on how my weekend "vacation" goes), I want to do something from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. This game, it's music is remix-friendly, and the tunes are more than just catchy. And seriously, 300 hours isn't so much. We got a lot of RBY and GSC stuff, with one or two RSE songs, but not one DPP remix at all. If anyone here has the skills and a song in mind, feel free to PM me about it.
