From January - July of 2011, I completed my own Castlevania album in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the franchise. After deciding to create a new Youtube channel a few days ago, I posted the entire album on there for your listening pleasure.

This album has 10 tracks and has 28:43 worth of material. I hope you find something you enjoy, and feedback is always welcome. Cheers!

You did a WHOLE album by yourself!? Wow... that's a huge undertaking, so kudos to you for that!

I'm listening to the first track now, and I'm already enjoying it quite a bit... it's pretty exciting, close to the original, but with more instrumentation, etc.

I'll give you some overall impressions later! :D

I've really enjoyed listening to it. I bet that if someone were to need music for a new castlevania game, your music would probably could be used for it. It's that good.
I also subscribed only after only hearing the first song.

You sir are a true remixer, and I truly mean that.

Do you have a zip of MP3s, or any series of MP3s, of this music downloadable? YouTube is not my preferred music player. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it Ondellonoya. To answer your questions, I don't have a soundcloud. I did use Acid Pro 7 to make all the tracks along with numerous synths, plugins, sound forge, etc.

Thanks, Korak! It's ironic to me that you say this because the one and only game company I've ever wanted to work for is Konami. I actually tried to submit this material to them for review, but their US branch wasn't very cooperative about remix submissions for use, resale as a music CD, or even as part of a resume submission.

My guess is a legion of people had a similar idea last year to do a 25th anniversary album, and they were inundated with calls and proposals.

Sorry, Jean. As of now I don't plan to release any of this content in any other format. I'm trying to keep this and my other remix / original material contained on one site for a sort of demo reel resource.

I've had some luck as of later with getting a 2nd game music product published, and I have a few prospects for some other stuff. I just hope against hope I can land some time of long term game job eventually.

Even if I can't, I'll still keep trying. :-)

In addition to this album, there are a handful of single song Castlevania remixes I put on my Youtube channel that were later used to do one of 2 of the Aura of Holy Might tracks.

There's content for CV1 - Stalker, CV1 - Heart of Fire, and CV2 - Bloody Tears.

This album is definately full of surprises. The instrumentation of the songs was great (I love the piano in the songs) and they had that "Castlevania feeling" in them. One of the songs that suprised me the most was Iron Blue intention, the chorus was an amazing touch, it was certainly something unexpected and yet fitting.

In other words.

It's awesome, great songs!

That particular piece of the track was done by taking 6 human voice phrase instruments and stringing them together to make it sound like verses.

I appreciate the amount of hits received on this new album so far from the community. I want to hear more of your feedback, and I look forward to it. Thanks again!
