Last round Gercr was the only one who managed to get a song in before the first deadline. After extending it, no other songs appeared, resulting in a default win by Gercr. Source: There isnt enough covers and remixes of earthworm jim out there. Which is weird because that game has some awesome music. If anyone has problems with registering or uploading the song to ThaSauce, please upload the song somewhere else and post a download link in the thread. I recommend Soundcloud, don't forget to allow downloads to enable me to upload the song at ThaSauce. To register and submit, do the following. Click the ThaSauce link. Click the 'You are not logged in' button in the upper right. Click on 'register' (at the bottom). Read the terms and click 'I agree to these terms'. If you don't agree with them, upload the song somewhere else and post a download link as mentioned above (by doing that, you allow me to upload the song at ThaSauce. Continue the process by filling in your information. A confirmation mail will be send. There might be some issues with it (meaning that you don't get it), if that is the case, upload the song somewhere else as described above. Login with your username and password, go to the mentioned page and submit the song. If you want submit two or more songs you can create multiple ThaSauce accounts or upload the song somewhere else and post the download link. GOOD LUCK! PRC instructions Limitations at ThaSauce require your entry to be 20 MB or less in size. Length for length's sake and MIDI rips are not allowed (only as Bonus Mixes). If anyone has problems with uploading songs to ThaSauce let me know (in this thread) and post a download link to your song in this thread (so I can upload it to ThaSauce). Entries must be posted in the ThaSauce link by Monday October 13th 2014 at 10:59 am ThaSauce time (18:00 UTC, 19:00 GMT): check the ThaSauce page for the exact time left. You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. You are free to create a second ThaSauce account for that, it's needed to be able to upload a second remix. You can also upload it somewhere else and put a download link in this thread Do not make qualitative comments on an entry until the results of the vote have been posted in this thread. Mixers cannot vote for themselves but if they vote they recieve a free first place vote added onto their score. The winner of this round may select the source for PRC282. Voting stats can be found in this picture. Evktalo gets the last place wooden spoon with 0 points. Xsqauder avoided the spoon by voting, bringing him 3 points and sixth place. Hoboka received 5 points, and gets the fifth place. Supercoolmike got 6 points and ends at fourth place. MushroomSword starts with 12 points and third place. And the winners of PRC281 are Grauw and Sir Nuts with 17 points. Congratulations Sir Nuts and Grauw, you both did an excellent job. This round was one of the best PRC's in a while. It can be found in the graph that voters voted on different ways. You both may select a source for PRC282. It’s actually been like a decade or so since I last produced a complete song (and that was in 8-bit trackers), so I learned a lot about the modern tools. The ocremix competition really motivated me, it’s a great format! I’m very happy how the song and the votes turned out, and that I get to pick a source now . Since the turnout was so good, and the quality quite high, I had a crazy-ish idea: what would you people think of finishing the tunes / polishing them up, bundling them together to an EP, and submitting it to OCR for an OCR-I release?
