  1. That really isn't a thread about OP rainfall, just about Xenoblade. Almost hit 4500 people on the facebook, so hopefully everyone there writes letters. What's the harm in trying?
  2. Any of you heard about the fan campaign to mail in letters and going on the social network to try and convince Nintendo to localize the games? www.oprainfall.com I hope more than anything that it succeeds, I want those games so bad!
  3. I don't know if anyone has ever requested it, but this is one of the best boss battle themes in the MM series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODecZTr6lkM&feature=PlayList&p=59247DA876C1B27F&index=13
  4. I love the game. But the fave part to me is the music. Good work on it guys!!! I think that's too cool.
  5. Heath Ledger's performance pretty much sold me in this movie, he was just so good. Not to mention the movie had me gripped the whole time. It was such a good movie.
  6. Wow, this is my new favorite remix of this song. I just keep listening to it over and over. You outdid yourself. This is just amazing... I LOVE IT!
  7. Wow, so many remixes lately. This one is definately no different. Beatdrop is always amazing and this time, MAN just amazing. Good work, looking forward to all the goodness you put out!
  8. First off, I am not an actual remixer, I've tried, but eh, haven't succeed yet. I love pretty much all things VGM though. First off, just wanna say, I'm glad you picked this song. After hearing it, overall I must say with whatever work you have planned on it and suggestions others have, this could be VERY VERY good. I am enjoying it already. Keep it up, I can't wait to see the finished version.
  9. Hmmm. Pretty good what you have so far. I must say that Grandia is by far one of my absolute favorites when it comes to VGMusic. You couldn't have picked many better. I can't wait to see where you eventually get to with this mix. Keep up the progress.
  10. You all probably won't know me as I really don't post a lot. Sure I listen to all the music but I don't do a lot of the other stuff. I felt that this mix was one of the best I've heard thus far, and just thought I should say that I appreciate all it takes to actually make a mix, because I've tried myself and just got even more confused. Great job, I'll listen to this one over and over.
  11. I listen to his music almost every day at work, some of the best pieces I have, I was utterly shocked and sad when I saw this announcement. I love fantastic music, and Reu was one of the best. It's a shame that humanity loses a great person with so much talent at such an early stage. He will be missed.
  12. I can't tell you how good it was to see that this was up. I've been on a search for a few good new songs and I get bombarded with 4 CDs worth of some of the best damn Remixes ever. I've been studying for a major test that I have coming up and I keep playing this mix over and over to help me work through some of the stuff I have to fill in. I don't think there was any song on here that I didn't like. Everything was very well done and I've been looking forward to a fantastic batch of FFVII remixes and low and behold it just kind of sprung up on me. Kudos, congrats, and you all never cease to amaze! Keep up the fantastic masterpieces!
  13. Fantastic, most of this is exactly the kind of replies I was looking for, I mainly want to keep it within $1000 to begin with, this doesn't include computer though, I'm am customizing one with all the specs I would want, and i am going to pretty much try and get everything for that. In terms of making it sound great earlier wasn't in reference to skill but rather the audio quality say like actual musicians in recording studios, reference. In other words stuff that sounds MP3 quality and not .wav or .mid because every time someone says the word midi all I think of are VGmusics .mid files haha. I know what I want things to sound like I just needed to get the right keyboard and software and pretty much gear. Your inputs are greatly appreciated and I think I am somewhat on my way to get what I need. For right now I am looking into a basic purchase to get used to remixing and then later if I can get what I set out to do, I'll upgrade to the best I can. Thanks again for your help and any info is appreciated!
  14. Okay, I know there are plenty of tutorials about how do to things, but to be quite honest I'm getting a little confused with all the stuff and what I need for what I want. I pretty much want to be able to make my own music that sounds pretty good like most of the remixes on this site do. I know there are keyboards, software, videocards, etc. I know there are a lot of options. I just want a basic setup to get started and get used to everything. I would probably be more into maybe a techno or orchestrated remix. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time!
