  1. From a catchy tune to a pulsing finish, this remix is an excellent example of any mix made from any Magical Drop game. The slight echo and sounds of character speech and dissapearing balls was something that would attract anyone who had played the game, or even not. The pace set by the phrases just kept a hold of you througnout the whole thing. I only wish that it were longer and had much more side elements to co-star with the already great melodies. Having a breaking base would be for the best. Final Grade: 7.5 out of 10
  2. Shazaam. That's how this mix was made from scratch. Finally, a mixer that realizes that DKC was about the drums, and K.Rool was about the rock. The awsome guitar phrases throughout the mix was downright hard and the drums were non-stop. I only wish that there would have been a stronger or louder, something to catch the attention of the listener in the beginning so as to almost force them to listen to the whole thing. Otherwise, a rockin' mix that is a must for any person, no matter what your style of rock. Final Grade: 9 out of 10
  3. This time, Scott Peeples has joined forces with Prozax to conduct another drum-bashing DKC mix. This one had both its ups and downs. The sound effects and sound waves were a real treat along with the announcer always saying "pump up the volume". The only down I would have for this is that the monkey yells and explosions get pretty annoying close to about half-way through the mix. Nevertheless, this is a remix that brings out the punk'd in every DKC fan. Final Grade: 8 out of 10
  4. Well well well. What have we here? A guitar-haven mix from the Chikusho Sound Team? Many people will think that they're in for quite a ride, and you are correct. This mix takes us back to the ol' days of MMX and revolves around it. A hard piece with non-stop action, except for the last bit. It was a surprise to me when I found that the last thirty seconds or so was very mellow for such a mix. Ok in a way, but somehow didn't fully catch my attention in a MMX perspective. Final Grade: 6.5 out of 10
  5. Any former player of Lemmings will love this mix. It's always giving a positive feeling, while still sounding pretty cool. Although the only drawback is the fact that it is quite short, this is a mix that can be treasured by all. The original melody from the game prances throughout the mix with a slight dab of our modern world. excellent work, dabombinc. Final Grade: 8 out of 10
  6. Hm, this was a mix that made me think hard about what if this had actually happened in the game. It sounded exactly like what you would hear for an in-game cetimatic about a war between the dark forces of Ganon, versus the resistance on Dragon Roost Island. The whole thing is practically a battle scene cut into different parts. I could easily hear the main melody throughout the mix, and gave a sort of feeling between a fought battle and a fled battle. Final Grade: 8.5 out of 10
  7. Yikes, something happened when a scholar and a physician joined forces to create a wacked up remix for the ol' mario tune. This whole piece was crazy and hard to keep track of where you were, but still left an influence with Mario's name on it. My friends have listened to this as well, and they have gone into spasms of insane thoughts and wacky mario games, and it's fun to watch. What a change this mix has given me to my view of Super Mario Bros. for practically the rest of my life. This will definetely be fun. Final Grade: 7 out of 10
  8. The lava stage... great beat, excellent melody, intense drumbeats. This is what happens to it once Scott Peeples has remixed it to some of its finest. The asian themes inserted to the "lost feeling" phrases were a great idea, and it almost sounded like a samurai stand-off. This is proof that Peeples has struck again with drums of masters, and yet still doesn't disclude the original themes that has started the whole thing. I really hope that you create another masterpiece soon, Scott Peeples. This is definetely one of my favorites. Final Grade: 10 out of 10
  9. This a mix that sounds like you actually held an orchestral concert to record this piece. The flow of the moods this mix brings sounds almost exactly like a piece by a video game-loving, 15th century musician. What surprises me, though, is that this sounds so close to something for a Wind Waker remix than one for DKC2. You did a good job, but the only problem was that it was a little shorter than I thought it would be. Final Grade: 7 out of 10
  10. ... Wow. That's all I can say. This mix gives a completely different feel to the way you would look at ice caves, and that's usually a good feeling. Throughout the first half of this mix, it's almost an aw-inspiring mood that naturally flows through you, and jumps to a melody that gives an ice perspective to the whole thing. The later half feels like a collaction floating phrases that "does" feel like christmas only in space, which I like. Kudos on a piece that soothes the mind and gives a warm winter feeling, deim0s... I really hope you make more. Final Grade: 9.5 out of 10
  11. Wow, where can I start?... This mix gives the complete power of the original water levels directly from the game, but doubles it. It gave both soothing elements throughout the mix, but still kept a strong beat to keep a realistic feeling of dangerous waters that you would be swimming through. This was by far one of the best water effect mixes I've ever heard, and deserves to be heard by all. Final Grade: 9 out of 10
