  1. In the beginning, I was a bit ambivalent... but by the time the improvisation bridge got underway, I was sold. Pretty solid remix, definitely an original take on an often-heard tune.
  2. Stereo-ize some of the main synth parts more. It sounds really cool in the break part 1/3 of the way in, use it more.
  3. I'm in the exact same boat as Skummel... so, relevant to my interests.
  4. thanks, zircon. Yeah, I'm not going for a literal "choir" sound, but a vocal background during the solo. I'll record myself in a couple days and see how it goes.
  5. Hey, I'm trying to figure out the best technique to make my own background choir sound. It will be behind a guitar solo for harmonic enrichment. (I use producer edition of FL, btw) How do I make it sound like an ambient "chorus" and not just many of the same voice? Should my vocal harmony be more than one note? What effects (panning, reverb, etc.) should I put on?
  6. I agree with Blind Hornet... however, it was interesting to listen for which parts were more "faithful" to the original songs. Not bad, (pretty good, actually) but not what I personally look for in a remix.
