  1. This was a great mix. Please submit more in this style, OCR. This should be its own album. Maybe even a double album. With the two mixes Larry mentioned, I don't have enough for my Video Game Sexin' mixtape. I guess I could it extend it by adding The Music Of My Groin. *rimshot*
  2. Amazing! I'm looking for a job and I throw on the album, all of the sudden my head starts moving back and forth to a new beat. I'm really getting into it, and boom! It's this very one posted here. Hats off to the AnSo and everyone else on the album. You've made being unemployed, and finding that no one wanting to hire a .NET programmer enjoyable! Now that is a feat. Edit: I actually got a job offer shortly after posting this. I credit Matthias for this turn of events! Also, this mix and its incredible funky bass rocking all the way throughout. If you bob your head while listening to this, you too may experience 1) gainful employment, 2) happy experiences with the opposite sex, 3) happy experiences with the same sex, 4) be a better person.
  3. This came up just now in my Winamp. This is significant because at the start of this semester, I dumped my unorganized 700 songs of OCR stuff into it and hit randomize. I hadn't listened to this one in years, I couldn't believe it was dated to 2001 when I pulled it up, it's still very catchy. Would love to see how DJ Chako's work has evolved over the last 9 years in a future post.
  4. I'm really excited to be seeing more DCT. I loved his Mega Man X5 remix a lot, and had worried it'd be the last we'd see of him for awhile like last time. Have some Maker's Mark and Coke in me at the moment and this is a nice accompaniment to the warmth. Hope to see more posts from you in 2011, DCT, loving the piano stuff.
  5. A-RoN: ...Really? The FF IV mix was posted in friggin' July. It's October. Get over it, move on. What's wrong with you where you're this fixated over a song you didn't like? No, no, I understand that it's cause this is another rap mix, and that one was the most recent rap mix until this one. I also understand that there was absolutely no reason to throw shots at joe cam/crackaz after giving a decent evaluation of the mix until then. The fact that you preceded your review of this mix by saying 'Well I know this will probably get me banned...' makes it worse because it makes it seem like the nice things you were saying about this song were only being said so you could throw a shot out at someone else. That's lame. As for this mix, it's catchy and I like the production, but something about the guy's voice isn't doing it for me. It seems similar to MC Frontalot which is what's throwing me. I've only hit up Frontalot's first CD, and that was some time ago, so I could be way off on that though. I need to give it a closer listen later.

  7. Hi there. I don't really read the forums, but I've been getting music from here since 2003 and I just wanted to say thanks for everything over the last 7 years. I tossed you guys $25. Anyone who has ever felt grateful for the music after a day from hell, or who has just been using that much bandwidth for that long, should give whatever they can too. Here's hoping I can increase the donation next year once college ends. And on that note, see you all next year, same thread.
