  1. This is gonna be a bit of a longshot, but I've been on the site since 2001 if I'm not mistaken. I haven't been on here in nearly ten years, but I've had a song from here stuck in my head and I can't find it ANYWHERE on the site or on my computer. I know that it came from here though, so I'll just post my "beatboxing" of what I remember, and hopefully someone out there knows what I'm going on about. So here it is, please help me if you happen to know what it is. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7z61fusyecz9xes/Random song I remembered.mp3?dl=0
  2. I've got a very odd problem here. I have a region-free DVD Player and 5.1 surround combo by a company called Fuze. There is apparently no way to output the audio to my TV without playing a DVD. What I would really like to do is get surround sound working on my videogame systems. The only way I've figured out how to do it is to play a DVD that has an audiotrack on the menu. The only problem with this is that even though it activates the surround sound for my TV (or videogames), it also activates the audio for the DVD, and I can hear both tracks. What I'm getting at is that I need to play a DVD with an insanely low audio-track, so that I can activate my surround sound for my games or TV. Is there anything I can download to do this...or something I can make? My DVD player plays burned DVDs with no problem whatsoever. Thanks in advance!
  3. This mix is absolutely amazing! Im sure you all know that though, since this is page 4 of the reviews, and nary a bad thing has been said about this masterpiece. Honestly, I've had this mix for a few years, and I just thought I would come on here and let everyone else know just how good it is...I mean, if they didnt already know, and its pretty apparent that they do. Come back Scott...please come back...
  4. Solid Blue Ico is right, at the 1:55 mark, its missing something, its really wierd sounding, and actually I like the one on VGmix better. However, that small complaint aside, this is a song in a genre all its own. I dont think Ive heard anything like it, and now...I wish I had. Amazing Binster...quality if I've ever seen it. 9.5/10
  5. this is a good mix, I must say. I rarely review, but I think this one is deserving. The song in general is very nice, however it does have its drawbacks. I dont mind the voices sometimes, but then others I really wish that they werent there. Another minor gripe that I have is that I dont think the piano is loud enough. If you would have either varied the voice samples a little bit, or brought the piano up a little bit, this would have been one hell of a contender. Otherwise though, I still would throw you a 90% though, because the guitar after the middle, and the overall presence kick it like it needs to be kicked. Not bad Mr. Star, I like your other stuff too. You're up there on the list of talented men.
  6. This song is amazing. I've listened to it as it was built in the WIP Forum. Throughout its time there, I knew it was going to be a very standout piece. I could have never known how right I was going to be. This is certainly my favorite in the long line of awesome Sonic remixes. I usually dont love the Sonic remixes, but the last few have been really good, and this one tops all of them. I rank this up there with Devil's Mask, the best Ninja Gaiden remix ever. Thank you Rayza, this is remixing perfection.
  7. MarcStar, if you ask me this is a pretty decent mix. I love the way that it starts with the fade in. The only thing I can say is that I dont like the fade out in the end. As for Prophecy and Romeos Protege, you may want to stop fighting about this because as everyone knows, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or in this case, the ear. I can see both of your points, and there is no need for flaming. This isnt an open invitation to flame me for saying that you are both wrong, because I feel that you both have made valid points. Prophecy, you have been doing this sort of thing for many years, and you should know whats excellent quality and what is decent. My guess is by your rating that this is decent. MarcStar even said that he only spent about 40 minutes on this mix. I think it kicks a considerable amount of ass for only having 40 minutes spent on it. However Romeos Protege thinks that this is an excellent song, and truth be told, when I downloaded it a few days ago I thought the exact same thing. However upon listening to it more and more I have realized that it lacks a little bit of polish. If you have the extra time, you should go back and add a defiant ending to it, and maybe use some better samples...just a little better. Still though, this is a sweet song, and I would love to see you take the time to perfect it.
  8. I vaguely remember having the VGMix version of this and I really didn't care for it. I also hardly remember the end of Ninja Gaiden 1. I beat it last year (cheating I think), and this song wasn't one of the games most memorable tones if you ask me. I'm not sure why not, but I'm not exactly catching these 'off' key changes either, it all seems to flow reasonably well to me. This mix is a little better than the one that I remember from VGMix. I don't really care too much for this mix though, I think another more memorable selection from Ninja Gaiden would have been a better idea. I'm not bashing this mix by any means, I'm just saying that your skills would have been better used on a different track. This remix is decent, but not what I was expecting when I clicked on the link.
  9. I love this song and have been listening to it for many a month. I like seeing a larger abundance of Ninja Gaiden songs here on the site. It also makes me happy to see that this remix kept so much of the original from the game intact. Quality work indeed.
  10. quality work, just desperately needs to be longer by about a minute and thirty.
  11. I just played Time Lord, and ladies and gentlemen...I beat the fat mexican guy. It took me about 10 minutes, but you stand to the right middle of the screen and fire with ONE gun...the pistol, and only the pistol, til' his chubby Vato ass explodes! Thank you folks, thank you, I do accept donations for greatness (I had to gloat...WHAT?)
  12. I think that in the game Time Lord, I beat the Mexican guy...granted my memory may be tricking me here. I think you have to use a single gun, and do NOT swith guns or whatever weapon during the fight. I am gonna go back and play it again just to make sure that I am not a bastard of a liar.
