  1. It's about DAMN time somebody mixed from this game! IoG is definetly one of my favorite RPG's, and this mix definetly is worthy of the game. First off, I like the bells, they really add to the mix, giving it a different feel. Not too sure about the flute, it's just sounds Wintermute could have done a better job with it. No complaints though. It does have the fade in drums, one of my favorite musical elements, and it has a different (but good) feel to it. I always thought if somebody mixed this track they'd do it in a western style. But that would be too easy. I just hope this excellent mix starts a new trend in the site...one where IoG gets mixed as much as the FF series.
  2. If Webster were to make a new, updated dictionary, he'd definetly put the title of this mix under the word "awesome". That's just the only way to describe it. If it's possible for a man to fall in love with a song, I've done it. The transitions are smooth and great, and the music is just...wow. Not too sure about the ending, but it does the job. I mean, if I had a choice of getting a billion dollars, winning the Super Bowl, and having Britney Spears as my personal b!t(h slave, or listening to this song, I think I'd choose listening to this song. It's that good.
  3. Oh. Wow. This is one of those mixes that you could listen to over and over again, and never EVER get tired of it. I get lost in it each and every time I listen. Reminds me a lot of running through a peaceful city, all happy and giddy after I just saved the world or something. Not that I've ever done that (that you can know about Anyways, definetly one of my favorite mixes on the site.
  4. Repetitive, but nice. Reminds me more of Sim City than Zelda, though. The theme when you decide to end your game for the day, and that little moon is sleeping. But maybe that's because I just woke up. I don't know. You decide.
  5. The simplest way to do quotes, if you're just quoting one person, is to find the post of theirs you want to quote and click the "Quote" button on the top right corner of the post. You could also do it by typing in [ quote ] without the spaces. If you want to put the name of the person you're quoting, type in [ quote="name" ] without the spaces. To end the quote, type in [ /quote ] without the spaces. Or you can click on the "Quote" button at the top when you are typing a reply.
  6. Probably already mentioned, but Kefka was a tough buy to beat. Always healing himself, and always taking your parties hit points down to 1. Damn you, Kefka!
  7. What's the name of that movie? Hunt for Red October, I think. You know, the one where they're in the Vietnam War, and the Apache helicopters fly over to bomb the city, and they start blaring Flight of the Valkries on their loud speakers. "What's that for?""So you don't get your balls shot off." Anyway, did anybody beside me have trouble beating Ultros? I don't know if he's already been mentioned, I'm gonna go through this thread little by little, but not all at once.
  8. Great title to a great song of a great game. The song sounds very professional, especially the drum-beat-build-up at 1'20''. I like the flow of that. Hearing the song also made me want to go play the game at Norbert's Online NES Emulator site. It took me a while to get the title, though, as I kept dying before I ever reached the trucks. Very interesting mix, highly recommended.
