  1. I have to 1000% percent agree that this is excellent for a Golden Sun trailer for a future game or especially a movie. From the start to :44, we'd get this lovely introduction to the main character Isaac and town that he lives in. From :45 to 1:20, there'd be some shots of the journey/world outside and some uses of Psynergy. From 1:21 to 2:00, there'd be heightened moments such as a fight, seeing the antagonists (including Alex), and a grand moment or two from the story (such as a quick shot of the fight on top of Mercury or Venus Lighthouse). All throughout, there'd be the descriptive things about it being this magical journey for one character, all the things they say to sell an epic adventure movie. At that 2:01 mark, we'd get one last bit of text, followed by a slow magical appearance of the title. I'd totally go see it, especially with this kind of song driving the trailer.
  2. This song makes me think of Mario, with a paintbrush, locked into a battle with an artistic Bowser or even Cackeletta and Fawful. Actually, you know know, it's definitely the latter two. I want this to be a thing now.
  3. This song actually brings a lot of emotions out. Skies of Arcadia has hands down been my number 1 favorite game for many years, even with all of the other amazing games I've ever played. The story always kept me on my toes and kept me invested, the gameplay was fantastic for its time...and despite the graphics being dated, I still really enjoy looking at it to this day. It's a game that for me had everything I wanted in a perfect game, again even though there are many great games still being made today. It's always held a very special place in my heart that can never be replaced, and this song really captures the game very well. I feel like I'm living through the game again when I hear this, experiencing it in a new way...imagining if it was made today. It both makes me smile and tear up a little with the memories it brings, the moments it makes me look back to, and just...gah. I'm just really in love with this song. This was definitely a song handled with much care, as there's nothing out of place. Everything fits perfectly, transitions perfectly, and this song just really embodies the body and spirit of what made Skies of Arcadia special. Thank you for this beautiful gem...this is by far my favorite song I've heard in many years, and it's one that will hold an equally special place in my heart right alongside the game that inspired it.
  4. Let me start off by saying that I absolutely detest most rap and hip hop, mainly because of the language they usually resort to, and because I see the former as mostly poetry with music in the background. That being said, this is by far one of the best songs I've ever come across on OCRemix. Instinctually like I do with most songs of this genre, I really wanted to stop it because of the type of song it was. However, the more the song progressed, the more eager I was to hear it until its end. And I'm really glad I did. The music itself was exceptional, the rapping was beyond amazing, and overall the entire song was just phenomenal. I detest most rap and hip hop out there, but this is easily one of my top favorite video game/remix tracks ever. Very well done Jose, this was truly some exceptional work, and I can easily say that I'm eager to hear both more of the stuff you've worked on on here, as well as potentially future material from you.
  5. So I've definitely noticed some great Little Nemo songs on here, but there's one particular song I'd love to hear that's been bugging me in the back of my mind. Well, okay, technically it'd be two of the songs mixed into one. Ever since getting back into Smash Bros and imagining what characters could make it in, I always wondered what it'd be like if Nemo had made a guest appearance. What would his moves be? His stage? His theme song? Then it hit me. If he had a theme song for Smash Bros, it'd undoubtedly be a mix between House of Toys and the Prologue being done in the typical Smash Bros style with guitars, drums, and female vocal "oohs" and "ahs" on some of the parts. It'd be guaranteed to be a song to get people pumped to use the little Smash Master. Link to the songs: VGMPF Wiki: Little Nemo
  6. I just have to say, I was listening to this and was imagining going through a completely remade version of Fisherman's Horizon. That's right, if they ever remade FF8 to a FF10/beyond style, I'd hope that they'd use this version of the song for the town's theme, since I feel like it'd be perfect.
