  1. Honestly, I think I prefer this to all other versions I have heard. Of course, I am biased towards the sheer devotion and passion behind this album, as well as all of the others. I also personally think that the decision to make this piece shorter was a fine one. I didn't think it was possible to do this song justice in 3 minutes, but I should expect nothing less from this community. This entire album has completely blown me away, and I am actually quite astonished to be alive; with this much excitement I would have anticipated a heart attack by now. Anyways, I would like to thank ALL 42 ReMixers for possibly the best musical experience I've ever had. I can't wait to see what album comes up next. Also, I would also like to know where I can get the full chiptune that served as the intro. I'd love to hear it. Keep up the always-impressive work, folks. ~Dan~ Ps. It's stuff like this that really inspires me to write music. Maybe I'll submit something of mine one day.
  2. This is one of the coolest tunes I've heard. Those drums rule!! I like how there's a flange (I think?) on the drums around 2:00, that is really cool and isn't often done. What Sound Font/Samples are you using? These are entirely awesome. One of the few pieces that has both awesome sounds as well as awesome execution. Very nice. ~Dan~
  3. Okay, so I use FL for all of my sequencing/remixing/composing. Due to me entirely hating the set of sounds that comes with it, I turned to mostly MIDI work. I often write my entire piece in MIDI, then add Sound Fonts. Problem is, I'm entirely unhappy with the quality of the soundfonts I have, anyone know where I can get good quality soundfonts for free? I am contemplating getting a job soon so I can save money to buy sample discs or something, but until then, anyone got any good ideas for free soundfonts? ~Dan~ ps. I use Fluid R3 currently, but many of the sounds just aren't what I'm looking for.
