  1. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Death Note yet. I began watching it about a year ago on a friend's suggestion, but dropped it after the first episode because I hated the main character so much. I tried it again a week ago and finished all of it (35ish episodes) the other day. The story is well told, and the huge battle of wits between the two main characters is wonderful to watch unfold.
  2. To begin with, I thought I was about to hear another Zeal remix, but then the familiar Dark World theme came in and I just sat and enjoyed the ride. The bells in the background are quite nice, and I liked the synth coming in. Cool remix. I enjoy it a lot.
  3. O_o wow that was amazing. I can't believe how much I like this mix. Its full of energy and simply amazing. All that brass blows my mind. Excellent, tres bien, good stuff.
  4. Man...I'm so glad you got this approved. I had it way back when it was a WIP, and I loved it then...heh, its in an even better bitrate than now. But I'll say this, its still a masterful piano piece, and I listen to it everyday at least twice. Great job, and I'm glad it came through.
  5. Man.....what a good mix. It flows so well and it just sounds like your in a professional orchestral hall...not to mention its Zelda music I thouroghly enjoyed this piece, and it definitely ranks somewhere at the top. Excellent work.
  6. Wow, that's one remix for the books, I think. Fast-paced, and done in piano . I don't see how a person can play like that, and do it that fast. Man I love this mix...its so powerful and in-your-face...well to me anyway. Anyway, 10/10.
  7. At first I said to myself, "hmmmmm....I know I've heard this before..." then I looked at my music folder and saw the Relics of the Chozo folder I have. I said, oh yeah, THAT's where I heard it. I liked it then, and I still do now...full of energy, plus the Norfair theme is my all time favorite Super Metroid song.
  8. wow, this is a very upbeat, happy remix. I really don't think this belongs under just "Super Mario Bros." though. Its got elements from almost all of the Super Mario series, and even the main theme from Yoshi's Story towards the end. Good arrangement, I like it a lot.
  9. When I first heard this mix, I thought: "this is a happy-type song." Well it still was from start to finish, and it did give me the sense of flying through the air, as shariq wanted the listener to feel like they were. (grammar?) Anyway, I liked it, and hopefully the next person that reads this did too.
  10. This song, for whatever reason, makes me feel like Chrono Trigger was on the NES, with the way the electronic sound went. Then came the violin, which made it sound like it was originally released on the PS. Melodic, rythmic, and overall a delight to listen to. Aaahhhhh....the NES....
  11. That is one nice remix. Upbeat, almost kiddish and playful (if kiddish is a word) at times. I've already listened to it 5 times, and it never ceases to make my body sway left and right. The harpsichord is nice, as is the violin interludes. I count 1, 2, 3 different songs in the mix, one of which, if I recall correctly wasn't even in Zelda: LW, but in OoT. But who cares, it's appropriate! An excellent remix, if I do say so myself.
  12. This is an awesome mix. It's so full of energy, and you really get the sense of an adventure when listening to it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the real world for four and a half minutes. Excellent.
  13. Well, let me see... I've never played Star Ocean, so I can't say that I would know the song from whence GrayLightning ReMixed from, but I will say this: it provides a mysterious and calming atmosphere, almost like flying through space. The "breath" noises heard throughout the song really calm me down a lot, and the rest of the instruments harmonize well to produce this atmosphere. This is a definite download.
  14. WOW! What a great remix! I've always loved Still More Fighting as one of my all-time favorite songs from FFVII, and since someone did a techno remix of this song, it gets me even more excited! The sheer energy of the mix is wonderful, as well as the victory theme about 30 secs from the end. A wonderful remix, recommended to all; even if you don't like FFVII, but like techno. 10/10
