Dude... cool it.

Go to your profile and post this code into the area labeled "signature" to have the pic in your sig:

[img]http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/1719/snoopycopy28tg.jpg[/img]

It'll look like this:

No, actually, I see what I was doing wrong now. I had selected "don't display my signature." That's why it wasn't appearing. Thanks for the attempt at help anyway though! (by the way, is this too big for a signature?)
Edit: sorry about the quintuple (I think that was it, I lost count after a while) post. I was getting a tad frustrated.

Sig seems fine size-wize, but then again, my sig's even bigger, so what do I know.
And don't worry about the multiple posts. Better you do it in this thread where it belongs and not somewhere else.

No problem, Like the Sologamer said, better here than anywhere else. Sig looks good. Welcome to OCR.

just caus I was wondering, I whipped up a sig two days ago and just went with it. What does everyone think? I'm happy to finally have some more identity on the site.

Plus, when I checked it ot see how it looked, I just clicked "preview" until I got it right. and, If I post just to see how it looks, you can edit the post and change it to fix whatever problem you had instead of reposting.

How do I edit the following in such a way that the support button can appear as part of my signature:

<img style="border:0px" alt="Support openDemocracy!" title="Support Free Thinking - www.opendemocracy.net" src= "http://www.opendemocracy.net/pix/free_thinking.png "/> ( http://www.opendemocracy.net/entry_points/openDemocracy.jsp )

I tried adding url and img tags, but all of my efforts were of no avail.

[url=http://www.opendemocracy.net/home/index.jsp][img]http://www.opendemocracy.net/pix/free_thinking.png[/img][/url]

That's the code to make it work. Just copy/past it into your sig area. This site doesn't support HTML, so you'll have to use BBCode.

HTML scripts are blocked for security reasons. You can't use them as a signature.

However, you can use the standalone image:

[img]http://www.stopglobalwarming.org/syndication/assets/banners/b4.gif[/img]

Alternatively, if you want people to be able to click it, just wrap URL tags around it:

[url=http://www.stopglobalwarming.org][img]http://www.stopglobalwarming.org/syndication/assets/banners/b4.gif[/img]
[/url]

This has probably been answered a good five billion times already, but are there any *specific* rules and regulations on signatures, such as acceptable dimensions, acceptable content, etc.? Feel free to PM them to me - I don't need to derail this topic any more than necessary; only enough to phrase my question. Just wondering, as I was planning on tossing another similarly-sized animation into my signature, and didn't know if I should erase my current picture, or if I could get away with placing the animation next to or below the current picture.

Thanks in advance.
