Sonic games with remix as music

I'm new to the forums, although I have known of OCRemix for at least 2-3 years now. I'm usually interested in the sonic remixes. 2 Questions though:

Has anyone ever made a video showing sonic in a regular level with one of the remixes of that level playing in the background?
It would be really cool if it was possible to play sonic 2 or sonic 3 all over again with the remixed versions of their level songs.

Secondly, I know of the sonic 2 and sonic 3 remix projects, but I was wondering if there was ever plans to do one for sonic 1?

2) No plans for a Sonic 1 ReMix project as far as I know (we have a lot of ReMix projects going already).

Thanks alot for that youtube link. It's exactly what I wanted to see.
Funny thing is I was thinking of doing something like this myself, but my TV Tuner card thing proved to be difficult when it came to the video recording. And anyway, if I was to get it to work, I was planning to to Emerald Hill and Sky Chase zone with those exact same two songs.
I also like the remix for the Casino zone and Hidden Palace.
