We'd definitely need a better recording/better compression using LAME - djp

Song: Final Fantasy - Prelude for Piano
Song URL:
Note: The Prelude is obviously a hard song to attribute given its presence in most of the installments of the game. The game I intended it for was Final Fantasy VI.

Shit, I just reviewed this and then lost my text!! To sum up:
 Make quality level higher - 160, 192 or variable.
 Mix too dry, add reverb or delay.... anything!!
If these things are done, I will say yes. It's similar to McVaffe's piano exclusive stuff.

Some decent piano work here. Sounds live to me. Of course, there's no way to pan piano like this without it being synthesized. The piano falls-out too quickly. It needs more presence after the note itself is interrupted by another piano note. As mentioned by DJP and Jivemaster, the encoding is a little sketchy. Re-encode higher, please?

Nice piano work! But the sustain needs to be held for the last few notes in each bar as well, and a higher quality version would be good as well. If this was done, I would say yes without a doubt. It would be good to see this on OC.
So NO for now.

Pros:
Interesting and original take on the ever-exhausted prelude
Cons:
Way too short.
Need more skill on the peddle, me thinks.

Yeah, as others have said, this sounds too dry. Use of the pedal would help a lot here. Also, it ended a bit abruptly, it could have easily gone on for a while longer.
NO
I love this prelude arrangement, though, and I'd highly encourage a resubmit!
