Listening to this mix hurts my head. The synth brass is killer, and it doesn't fit at all with the bass. The mixing is so-so, too :/

Hmmmmm.....good idea, but this has some poblems. The bass is a bit muddy, and the (synth?) brass, well that's just bad. The sax is good though!
This is a good idea, I like the way this could have sounded.
NO The brass is ewww, and the mixing is off.

I like the lo-fi kind of sound to the whole thing. I'm sort of torn here - not sure what way to go (I know that doesn't help). When I listen to it, the main progression does annoy me a bit, some parts of the mix (ie. sax) are much too dry - get some reverb/delay in there, it would definitely make it better. I don't like the brass at the start - whether or not it's meant to be bad sounding or not, I don't like it. Some of the layers clash with each other in this song too (like the guitar bits).
I'll say NO for now.

Well, to be honest I expected worse, and found myself actually kind of getting into this. Unfortunately, it's fun, but it's not OC quality. As others have mentioned the brass section sample could use improvement, and I'll go ahead and say that that aspect of the arrangement is rather dry and uninteresting even if the sample sounded good. The song's got potential, but it's got a ways to go yet.
