I was just thinking to myself today that I needed some poppy stuff to listen to while reading Love Hina; I had a bunch of slow poppy mixes in my playlist today, and this one is just perfect.

The mix is just so professionally done...the guitar and piano sections are lovely.

The ending is a bit weak though, but overall a great tune to sway to. ^_^

*yawn* pardon, but this song just makes me sleepy like that.

This is definitally a keeper in my book, and not just because I love wild arms. It's very professional, and I love the mood it emits.

The beginning felt a bit empty, but that's the only complaint i had.

I especially loved how it just picked up and kept constant at 0:35.

Can't say much else, as i'm too tired to think (and not just because of the song.)

This remix is INSANELY beautiful.. Dale North and Jaxx, I always wondered what would happen if these two musical geniuses worked together could accomplish, and now I've seen it. I can die a very, very happy man.. Seeing as they remixed my favorite song from Wild Arms, and did such a beautiful job in doing so. I love you all.

Wow. How much does it suck that we lost JAXX? That kid's crazy on his guitar.

Shame. Great mix, by the way. ;)

Righto-> Lets get to it Dale, Jaxx <-Songplayed-> ::whipes a few tears away:: its so deliciously pretty it forces your attention right on it. The emotional power is so raw and vivid that you just might orgasm. Almost every aspect is superb. one of those must-haves, Especially if you .. ::sniffles:: like to cry..

0:01 - With the first soft chord you kind've smile. it .. has that dream-effect on you.. it WANTS you to smile. its this kind of emotion that helps bring this to life. The quality is great here.

0:21 - Excellent. The Strings sound Very good. One can't help but get the jibblies when listening (goosebumpies)

0:56 - More goodness. sounds so real. And whats so empressive is how Raw the emotion stays throughout the entire piece, it makes you want to listen to every god damn note. it makes you feel like your special.

1:48 - ::Sniffles:: More lucious strings... the quality is all top-notch..

2:23 - By this point.. I love how its transformed. its sort've abandoned its sad-vibe..and kind've pushed the a bit to make it more inspirational..

2:34 - Gotta dig that piano.. ::sniff:: its .. yea... i don't even have to explain. AH! ..thats the end?! .. :( im not a fan of the note ended on.. and i wish it was longer. But .. either way.. ::Sniffles:: im gunna cry.

Very pretty. Very nice. Good job. Don't like the ending. Guitars are great.

I'm guessing this is the same one as was posted on vgmix almost a year ago? Possibly the best work by either of the mixers involved. Nice work!

Beautiful song. I sure hope JAXX returns someday. Anyways, I found out the ending becomes less noticable if you have this song on repeat. What more can I say, this is a great finale to JAXX's works, and an excellent collaberation with Dale. Get this song and keep it.

I only wish there were more remixes of this game...

You're so right. This game deserves so much more than its credited. Someone, for the love of great music, please do more Wild Arms remixes. :(

Holy crap... Incredible work. I usually don't go for slow, soft ballads like this, but this one is just mind-blowingly cool. :o

The guitar work is top-notch, all of the orchestration sounds pretty good, the piano is fantastic, the percussion is very suiting, etc. Just download it already.

Jaxx, if you read this, you can count on being missed. Good luck with accomplishing your goals. :)

I like the keyboard-related stuff in this song, and the reverb on the snare. I think the guitar tone does not go with the song: when the synth stuff is silky I'm not sure it's good to include the guitar buzz (:55) and a piercing raw treble-y clean guitar tone (or so dry when distorted). The notes the guitar plays between 2:00 and 2:12 and 2:16 to 2:28 roXorz my soXorz (to borrow a phrase), though the transitions between those 2 sections (2:14), and the doodle after 2:28, are less than cool (something more subtle and breathing there would work more than dirty doodles)...sweet stuff overall.

I guess this was submitted now so that JAXX could go out on top. And this proves (as if it needed proving) that JAXX is and always will be one of the best. Not to ignore Dale North, who also does an excellent job here. This song is simply beautiful. Dale, keep 'em coming. JAXX, we will all surely miss you.

Normally, this is where I take the remix, dissect it, and say everything I like/dislike. But something about this song, makes it seem almost like it wouldn't be right to say the things I didn't like... So I guess I'll just point out some cool parts of this incredibly emotional mix - the way the bass comes in at 0:35, helps guide the song into the next part. At 2:31, instead of simply leaving the guitar holding the note and fading out, it does a sort of falling note dealie. At 1:09 a clever series of notes leads right back into a repitition of the previous guitar pattern. Little things like this don't really make a difference in the quality of a song, but I think their addition gives a song more "replay value" and a more interesting listen.

This gave me a few goose bumps at first. Dale north is just amazing sometimes.

I think i could have started singing, but the guitar replaces what would have been a vocal if someone were to sing. it totally fits the tune.

lastly, i did not like the ending. sorry dale.

overall it is a really nice remix that gave me some goose bumps at the begining.

Wow, This is a big keeper for me. Not only was I a big fan of Wild Arms music. I'm an even BIGGER fan of Dale North. And who better to team it up than with JAXX a great guitarist who I will miss hearing. This song is very simple..yet very prefessional. Everything seems to fit togeather, everything is top notch I would love to be able to remix like Dale, but, for now..I will stick with my electronica. And I will let the soothing world of remixing up to people like Dale and Russ who I am very fond of.

Thanks for the Mix..Glad you submitted this Gem...cause otherwize..I wouldn't have known of it..

God...what can you say...

Songs like this always get to me. I've never even played Wild Arms, but this is just...gorgeous stuff. The orchestration, the strings...I'd expect to hear this on a big blockbuster movie or a pivotal anime episode, that's how well-done it is. I think the ending leaves a lot of room for interpretation, so I'm not gonna say anything about it. But the rest...my God. Wonderful, wonderful stuff. Kudos to both of you.

Jaxx, I didn't even know your stuff, but you are already missed.

Very good remix, loved the guitar how it is very distinguished, the piano flows really well. What can I say, it's a little short but other than that I can't find anything wrong with it.

Thanks,

When I first heard this song, I almost cried. The piano had a very intricate and delicate melody that led to that incredible entrance by the electric guitar. It was a perfect blend, and just the RIGHT kind of sound that was needed to advance the song.

I think that this remix is much better than the original, which has its own merits but is unable to match up to the beautiful intensity of this remix. The progression, right from the entrance of the perfectly executed piano, the warm tone of the background, the electric guitar... and the only real flaw with this song is it's ending; and it really bothers me that the song could not end perfectly.

I like the concept of the guitar and piano ending together hand-in-hand which symbolises the idea of "Not Alone in this World".. As if they have found each other. But still, the ending doesn't do justice to this song.

Still, if this song represents the farewell of Jaxx (who I am not familiar with because I'm relatively unfamiliar with OCR), I think it is a great choice. The work done here is amazing.. I'd like to thank Jaxx and Dale North (who provided that delicate and perfect balance in instrumentation) for such a moving song..

Forget 'almost cried', I just did.

Wow...wow...wow...wow...wow...wow...wow...wow...wo w...wow. And that would be the description of the context after i listened to this song. After reading DJP's review it made the song even better. One of the most heartfelt remixes i've ever heard and no more than "Wow" can describe it.If you're going to listen to this I'd suggest not resisting the urge for just sitting back, closing your eyes and, and having some sweet, quiet dreams

I liked the first more than the second half, as I get my chill bias going, but this was some nice work. Certainly not one to pass up...for the ladies! Nice stuff, Dale & Pat.

What an excellent way to say good buy. I can see it now...

The sun is beginning to dip below the hills as your friend turns to leave... your journey has been so long together, but now he must go, to travel unknown paths. As he crests the hill, you wave to each other, and the sun sets as he dissappears over the other side.

Good by. I have no idea who you are, but hopefully our paths will cross again some day through your music Jaxx.
This music has brought tears to my eyes.

Oh Dear, I had already assumed I commented on this...
I really need to get more active in OCR...
anyways...

This ReMix is, as expected for me to say, AWESOME!!!!!!11!1!!11!!1!!!TWO!.
However, I am not prone to outbursts like that anymore...
so I will say this instead:

This piece of music is probably the most majestic combination of the energy of JAXX, and the orchestral GENIUS of one of my favorite artists, Dale North.
This ReMix is easily a top 3 on my lists, all of them.
This piece is the piece I recorded onto a CD and used as part of a valentines day present.
If I can entrust this to convey my affection, it is surely good enough to be used to reflect upon my deepest emotions with.

I am giving this ReMix a score of such value, it has no numerical value.
I am giving this my Quantum Harmony Award.

(I didn't make the picture.)

in conclusion:
MAKE A BAND, GUYS!.

Very beautifully done. If you haven't played WildArms you'll still love this arrangement. If you have played WildArms it will mean even more to you. It will make you nostalgic.

Absolutely stunning; I love mixes like this one that go straight for an emotional response. Everything about the arrangement of this source is both wistful and nostalgic, and the source really shines with the treatment. Nice guitar playing, delicate piano, and a 90's ballad drum style all combine to make a really good sound.

Recommended, I love this one.

Ah...
This reminds me of a music box from Paper Mario.
I can appreciate what it's trying to do, the going for a bittersweet saccharine heartfelt feel, and, imo, it tries a little too hard. It is pretty good and tries to keep things varied, but this just isn't quite my style. I do recommend giving it a listen though.
