I just liked the vibe of this song, and this idea immediately came to mind. It doesn't keep in line with the spirit of the original or shit like that, IMO it just kicks ass =P
Should I work this idea out or should I just leave it as a short jingle and not submit it at all?

Personally, I like it. I think you should work with it.

The only thing that didn't seem like it belonged was some of the cymbal, it overpowered the lead at the end.

Yeah you should do. That combined with my Hardcore version will make TWO metal remixes of a song that NOBODY else would of that to turn into metal. How cool are WE?!
