hey I couldn't find the rar file on the judges web... so i downloaded it of dj shade's website (http://www.geocities.com/reflexxlylat/index.html). hopefully they are the same.

anywas... cluttered, mechanical sequencing and lofi samples galore. few liberties taken with the original in regards to arrangement. this sounds like the guy was using a tracker. if this is the case, then the goal is to make it sound like you're not using a tracker. if not, then i guess i'm mislead by the lifelessness of this mix.

Sounds just like the original pretty much. Weak sequencing, aka using the bass or lead by themselves. Way too repetitive. Work on some song expantion.
