i have verizon fios which is all nice and whatnot except they give you a really terrible router
id love to be able to no longer use this router but i need to use it because it has a coax out so that my tv gets the on demand and guide and stuff
so i need that
and no routers have a coax out

SO
is there any kind of converter to convert a coax cable to an ethernet cable
or am i stuck with the router that i hate

EDIT DELETE THIS OR LOCK IT OR IGNORE IT

Pretty sure you're stuck with the router they give you. At least from the images I've seen of this router, I don't think there's a way to bypass it. Perhaps more doo-dads will come out when fios is more widespread.

There's a special box that does it. I'll look when I get home.
