This song never really builds up the range. No bass instruments ever come in except a bit at the end.

The song is overly simplistic, and way too short for an orchistral piece.

I'll give it a NO.

Nice samples :/

Well so far all I've found out is that the music in this game was in midi. I'll see if I can get some more info (like a link to a midi or something like that).

I would really like to hear many more layers and textures in this...
As it stands now, it's a little boring to listen to because there is never
very much going on.

I would like to hear an original version of the song though.

for now i will vote NO

yeah, this is a poor attempt at orchestral style. some ok percussion. but all the instruments are playing rhythmically and often harmonically in unison while the string bass just holds roots ... you can do so much more than this given the style!

the samples are a roland jv/xv i think. man i hate roland synths.

page cannot be found....

EDIT: bear with me folks. its my first day. ok i've got it.

cant say that i've ever heard the original.

the patches are mediocre.

up to 1:30, theres really just not much here. theres no harmony to speak of. theres a melody and a snare. i'll tell you now, i've yet to hear a melody so good that it stands on its own. context! melodies need context!

strings are unnatural sounding. not the worst i've heard, but theres definately something off with the attack. 2:00, first semblence of harmony, unfortunately its muddy, two note 1-5 harmony

and then its over. somehow.

NO

there are several things holding this mix back, but the best place to start would be to experiment with harmony, different instruments and parts.
