What is it with Sonic and Fruityloops-sounding songs?
Ok, first minute has nearly nothing to it, I hope this picks up soon.
Sections around 1:25 don't fit at all. Chord problems. It doesnt work too well as style.
The song is finally into the main theme now. The simplistic beat still hasnt changed yet. It seems simplicity and repetitivity is haunting this song.
Way too much repetition here.

Well, that's certainly interesting. I'm really not digging this over and over
and over aspect of it. It's like a really neat sounding loop just
waiting for a cool lead or delayed synth stab to make some neat
polyrythm versus the four on the floor beats, it just never gets there.
And the ending just kinda *bamfs* and it's over....
I dunno, some neat ideas, but it just feels too repititious.

This is the only reason I'm going to post because this bugs me EVERYtime someone does it in a song. You have all this chordal build up. Chords, layers, TONS of repetition.
Then the melody comes in at 1:33 and there is NO accompaniament??? Just a melody, on it's own, like you forgot to fill in the rest of the parts! So give us some back up here. That and the repetition with the very similar sounding instruments gets REALLY grating after a while.
Justified enough?

well, the other judges summed up the problems already. this is pretty dull in the development department, instruments aren't very interesting and it is quite repititious (http://aaronmatthews.com/submit/files/analoq_-_Thunder_Thunder_Thunder_Thunder_Cats.ogg).
