The circle beside your name

I just noticed that there's a circle next to the username when you look at someone's posts. Sometimes it's filled in, other times not. What does it mean? And my apologies if I should have figured this out somewhere else.

if it's green, it means the person is online. If not, there off line.:tomatoface:

If it's red, it means you don't want to be seen as online but I can still see you. :-)

Of course though, there are those who wish to be one with the shadows and only "appear" offline...
