I've been messing around with my string samples trying to get the best sound out of them and I needed a song with which to test them...what better than Eric Whitacre's masterpiece, Lux Aurumque?
The piece is originally a choral piece that I've redone to fit a string section (full, not chamber). I wanted to make it as real as possible...the song deserves it. If you've never heard it...well, it's one of the most heartwrenching songs I can think of.
Let me know what you think. (sorry about mp3 bitrate: highest possible :) )
