We have one of these threads every year and I haven't seen one yet, so here goes!
Post the loot you received for Christmas this year =P

I received the following...
SteelSound 5Hv2 gaming headset
Dvds... Black Books series, Rambo Trilogy, The Shining, Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast, The Police - Synchronicity Concert
Cds... Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor; Massive Attack - No Protection; King Kong OST; Garbage - Garbage, Version 2.0, Beautiful Garbage; Midnight Oil - 20000 Watts RSL;
Tetris DS, shirts (with 'retro' designs, Tonka and Back to the Future), a little money

Presents aside, it's been a good Christmas. I've had parties with most of my family and will be having dinner with them all again tonight. :) Good to see everybody together.

You other-side-of-the-planet types and your multiple hours ahead of us. One day, we're going to blow up your part of the sun, and watch you freeze in the dark like the pinko commies you are! Then you'll be begging to be part of Mountain Standard Time, and we'll let you in. FOR A PRICE! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

On a more serious side... I already know what I got, so here goes:

Mario Galaxy
Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Wii component cables (should go nicely with the new HD tv I'm buying later this week)
Some other stuff. Really, who cares? Mario Galaxy!

I suppose I am the only one who thinks that the term "Christmas haul" falls tragically short of including any notion that these are gifts people have given us...its not like we are going out fishing or something. Perhaps I am looking too much into it, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Got some great personalized gifts from people I know online already and a few from friends that live nearby. Probably the neatest is a clock/timer/alarm/thermometer that is powered by water.

I got a 360 which I bought I told my dad to order on Black Friday and Halo 3...that's only the stuff I know about now, but I can assume that tomorrow there will be some little surprises here and there which'll be nice. Hopefully a HD cable for the 360 that has a vga/dvi port...since I kinda forgot to get one and am currently using composite...which blows when you're using a nice monitor.

I had a very electronic but un-videogame related Christmas. I received:

Clothes
New Derby
Clothes
Sax Accessories
New Sound System (4 speakers and a PA system) for my band (Woohoo)

Kinda bummed that I didn't get a Wii but I expected that. Although, with my new sound system I can start gigging and make enough to buy me one amongst other things. It was a good Christmas for me.

Dude. http://ocr.anticlan.net/ Sign up and get in on the internet DS playingness.

I need to update my info on there. I've actually gotten a few good wireless games since then.

This was a rather amusing year for presents at my house...

"The Totally Interactive Band Bible"... looks pretty extensive, probably has some useful info in it.
"The Complete Bible Experience"... lol lots of Bibles this year. This one is a dramatic reading by the likes of Denzel Washington, Sam Jackson, and a lot of other cool black people.
"Sansa Clip" 2GB Mp3 Player... kinda looks like an iPod mini.
An Optimus Prime Voice Changer/Helmet... It doesn't cover my whole face, and it looks pretty funny. I'll try to post pictures later if anyone wants to see Optimus Prime with a beard.
Animaniacs, Vol. 3... My collection is now complete! Now on to Pinky and the Brain, Vol. 1!
The usual apparel items... including a very cool looking black t-shirt with a Raven holding a pair of mixing headphones.
A pocket knife with artwork of a big mouth bass on it... wtf???
Stuff I bought for my brother, but I'll probably end up using as well.. yeah, I'm that guy.
A bag of Goldfish... mmmm, Tasty.

-Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

And apparently there's some kind of secret I'll find out about in a couple of days. No idea if it's another present or what...

Check again--Pros have been coming with built-in HDMI ports for a few months now.

So far I got a new 8.2 MP camera, a few movies and books, and Creative EP-630s (which are about as good as I can ask for given the use I want out of them). I bought myself quite a present--a Creative ZEN--a month ago.

Oh it's the Wii version. Ok, I'll give it a chance. I gotta admit though, I am loving the Disco games and the rabbid shoot so far.

lol I love those. Just wait until the soccer/schoolboy slap/hammer hit. You'll love those too. Greatest. Party game. Ever.

apparently all i got was gift cards this year....
2 starbucks giftcards, $50 total
2 Barnes and noble giftcards, $50 total
$25 for itunes
$25 for any carmike cinema movie theater.
I'm excited about the giftcards.

My mom also ignored my request for rock band, and I got socks instead. I was very sad about this. Eh. I guess I'll have to wait until I have enough money and buy it myself like everyone else. I hate being a grownup and crap.

I got an M-Audio Keystation 61 es. I also got The Devil's Backbone on DVD, Spanish For Dummies, and a scarf. That's pretty much it.

-Cell Phone (Samsung SPH-a580)
-Camera (GE A830)
-Barenaked Ladies: Talk To The Hand (Live CD/DVD)
-Led Zeppelin: Early Days and Latter Days (2CD)
-Harry Potter and the Order Of The Pheonix (DVD)
-Ken Follett: The Pillars of the Earth (novel, hadn't heard of it before, looks interesting)
-Touch-screen Chess game
-A poster, which I haven't opened yet, so I don't really know what it is.

Plus, some 'gifts' to myself:
-RCA Vinyl Record Care Kit (gave one to my brother as well)
-Two 2GB SD Memory Cards (yay for boxing day sales!)

I never got much gaming-related stuff this year, but that's understandable considering I only have a GBA and a laptop that's hardly powerful enough to run anything. My younger brother, on the other hand, received Tetris DS, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and Sonic Rush, so I plan to have a go at those before I head back for university.

Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_day) - but as far as I know, yeah, it's Canadian, and now it's mostly just used for sales at department stores and such.

My sister got me an empty, coffee-pot-sized jar emblazoned with the breast-cancer-awareness ribbon, complete with pink lid. I do not know what I'm going to do with it. Normally I'd fill it with change, but now if I do that, I'll feel bad if I don't give it to breast cancer research, which, now that I think about it, probably isn't all that difficult to do. But regardless, it's a really weird Christmas gift, which is the point I would like to stress.

Other "loot":
-A bunch of "The Office (US)" -themed stationery, i.e. pens, post-its, magnets
-A cheese knife
-0.5 lbs of Hershey's milk chocolate (gone already)
-A heavily Photoshopped printed-on-canvas fake-painting picture-with-Bible-verse that would be pretty cool, were I not an art snob
-They Might Be Giant's: Here Come the ABC's CD/DVD combo
-Glass block with a 3D trumpet carved inside it by means of science and/or magic
-Rotating under-lit stand for above item
-sequential $5 bills.
-Mario Galaxy :-D

From work:
-Messenger bag
-"Infamous" themed patches
-Sony [whatever model] noise-canceling headphones. (super comfy :D )
-Laptop bag (that I used to carry my Wii and remotes)
-RC helicopter (secret Santa gift)

Stuff I bought for myself around this time:
-Xbox 360 Elite
-Black pinstriped suit and wool topcoat
-Googly-eyed hand puppet.

I'll have that Cheerinos T-shirt soon :-o

Sweet. I might be more excited about this than you are. :?

EDIT: upon looking again, the pink lid of my breast cancer jar is not embossed after all. Darn.

- Wii Zapper
- 2 GB Memory card for my Wii (I like VC games so this is a good place to put them so I can have more space)
- Casino Royale widescreen dvd (I hate full screen)
- 2 pairs of pants (I needed them so yay!)
- Deoderant and Axe Shower Gel in a little zip up carry case thingy (Got this from my cousin. Got the same kinda thing from her last year... maybe she's trying to tell me something.:< )

Wow, until I typed it all up I hadn't realized just how much I'd gotten. Anyway, maybe it's just me but RE:UC is a bitch even on easy. The boss battles anyway. I keep running out of ammo. Well, all in all I feel I had a good haul.
