im missing one old game that was similar in concept with MechWarrior but the graphics sucked and the game sucked. I can't remember the name. I'm pretty sure it's older than Mechwarrior 3.

I LOV YOU! It's not earthsiege, but doing a google search lead me to find this: http://img.jeuxvideopc.com/images/jeux_boites/grandformat/10611.jpg

It was Iron Assault.

So do you think Descent is an FPS or a Flight Sim?

Shoot man, I just remebered another game I am missing:

It's an old racing game with a futuristic setting where everyone had vehicles that looked like spaceships. AND GET THIS! After most races, there would be a 3d-animated commercial of some futuristic product. Some of them were funny, such as the mechanical hand where you could lift large boulders with ease. I think that one was where the guy drops a boulder on his head.

Another game I am missing that I remembered the name of: Whiplash

If it's a flight sim, then it was based off of one hell of an aircraft. What, with he hovering, zero-g turns, massive weapons payload, vertical strafing and all that.

Trust me, it's a FPS. It's just one of the most kick-ass FPSs ever!

I kept track of everything I'd played until I was 10ish and my house burned down.

Jeez, I'd have to go all the way back to the Atari, Commodore64, and a bunch of other older systems that I can't even remember right now....

I'll see what I can think up.

Yep, that's the one, thanks!

That sucks dood. I didn't start keeping track until I was maybe 16 years old, so games are still popping up in my head that I haven't put on the list.

Damn, just looking at that list...I probably played way too many games - around 30 for the NES alone back in its heyday.

What was the name of that oldschool PC Star Wars FPS btw?

Does anyone remember the sequel "Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight"?

Compared to so many other games, it wasn't that great, but its modding scene was awesome, and its small multiplayer community was insanely fun.

You bring up a point, and in my opinion the problem of 99% of PC games is companies haven't got it through their heads that co-op is actually worth more than single-player.

Edit: Anyone played S.T.A.L.K.E.R? That game would be awesome with co-op. However, single player isn't very fun because there's some things lacking in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in general. With co-op, those lacking areas would be very easily overlooked.

I wholeheartedly agree. IMO, Halo for the XBOX, wasn't that great of a game on it's own, but the co-op was a blast.

Hell yeah. I played the hell out of the multiplayer on Microsoft Gaming Zone. I remember the days of Patch Commander and Kicker Helper quite well. Even wrote a few of my own cogs. Modding Jedi Knight was probably the first programming I ever did.

To me, I sometimes like to replay old games as if they were new. I guess lists can be good for that, but browsing old titles is fun too.

Oh man, it's only because I didn't want to keep track of that. I also don't list Mac games. I've owned Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and I own a Gamecube now. I'm not much of a console gamer though.

I looked on your list of RPG's, and thought you HAD to play more than just those.
