Well heres an 8-eyes remix for you guys, i saw ya didnt have one..so..tried
my hand at it. Its just yoru basic rave bass. enjoy

Cool- 8 Eyes. Old favorite of mine.

The style of the mix is a tad generic- which doesn't kill the mix, but it doesn't exactly help.

What really hurts the mix however is that the original is pretty much recreated note-for-note. In essense it's just the original piece being played over a dance beat.

Ending is kind of a letdown as well.

This is exactly what israfel said it was; the original melody over very simple drums. However, in this case, the drums never change and there's some rather odd shakers pannin from left to right at all times.

The ending is weak.

Work on the melodic aspects of the song and try to promote the original melody in new ways rather than just rehash it.

Work on more involved beats as well.

As much as I find dance music mostly dull and aggravating, the one thing
I normally DO like about it (when it doesn't suck, anyway) is that if it's
going to do anything neat musically it's going to take it's damn time doing
it and let you appreciate the transition for several minutes.

the samples here are just too low quality to be meaningful in the context
of the track. Sometimes low-fi just sounds cool, like in that T2 track we
saw a few weeks ago, but here it just sounds awkward.

The ending is non-existent, and the drums really could use a little spice in
them.

Keep pluggin at it, there's still progress to be made. The game might be
easier when you're level 99, but half the fun is getting there.
