okay. this sounds like the guitar was recorded in the closet. really just poor quality recording. the bass and drums sound good.

the interlude is decent. but back to the verse, the guitar sounds like crap again. the playing is decent, but flawed, and the recording is terrible.

also, the song is only 2 minutes, and there is very little arrangement.

fix the guitar, expand the arrangement.

Really cool ideas presented here, but as vig mentioned, the recording is rather poor.

A. better recording.

B. Work on doing 4 minutes instead of just 2.

C. Work on getting the guitar on the same key as the bass for the beginning and end.

Holy, what's going on here? I can't tell if it's the recording itself, or just the way all the sounds are mastered, but something's causing some clipping here. Might want to tone down the bass guitar a bit, it's really over-powering.

The arrangement is strong. I like what you've done with the stage select theme. It really does have a strong rock feel. The guitar playing itself is pretty good, although the hammer-on's don't sound that good at 1:25. Given the the original material, I don't think this could be any longer without being repetitive. Love the ending, too.

Gah, you came so close. Just record the guitar better (sounds muffled) and it's good enough for a YES from me.

Yeah, something in the drums is clipping deep somewhere. odd mastering
issue. The drums sound pretty dry too. Just don't feel like they blend in
with the rest of the rest of the track.

Hah, i liked that ending. Tighten this up a bit and you've got a winner.
