PXE-ROM Boot Errors.

I'm trying to install Windows XP (fuck Vista) on my laptop. I have the CD, but whenever I try to boot from CD, it says the following;

PXE-E61: Media test failed, check cable.
PXE-M01: Exiting.

Then it boots Vista as normal.


Help?

your laptop is trying to boot of the network, make sure you selected your cdrom drive and not PXE/Network boot

I only have four options. Hard Drive, CD/DVD, FDD and LAN. I chose CD/DVD, it does the same thing.

thats odd, what type of laptop you got?

The only way I know how to answer that question is by saying a Toshiba.
