about competitions...

Ok so, i am new here and i am interested in competitions,can somebody explain how they work?,(if a post like this already exists point me there:arrow:)

Each competition has its own rules and guidelines. These are usually posted in the first post of the thread. Usually there is some deadline as well as other restrictions that are imposed upon it. For example, if you take a look at the writing competition, updates are made in the first post rather than posts throughout the entire thread.
