With an overabundance of terra mixes on the site, new terra mixes, in my opinion, must show something new, offer something over the others.

This song offers nothing new, and along with the poor sound quality (reverb over everything?) adds up to NO

This has been through a lot of compression! This has got a good beat to it, but it doesn't really add a lot of new material to the song. There are a lot of mixes of this song on OC, so to get any more on they have to be really outstanding.

comparisons aside:

Reverb is way too heavy. Compression out the wazoo. Choice of instrumentation is conducive to the muddy, oververbed sound. Almost like Phil Spectre, but not in jail. And more repetitive.

apart from that, what stands out is that the harmony lacks the subtleties of the original.

the gigantic bass is overpowering and muddy. it just rolls over everything else and makes the mix to crowed.
