New Nickname, help requested [Archive] - OverClocked ReMix Forums

Hey Folks,

After about 10 years I decided to change my nickname. I did a google search on NeoS... well, let's say the first hit connected to my person is on page 5 or so. 'NeoS' used to be tied to me.

Anyway, I just can't decide on a new nick. so... I let YOU decide! :D

I'll give you some info to work with.

Real name: Martin Zandbergen
Country: Netherlands
profession: IT admin
hobbies: DJ'ing, making music, gaming.
Favorite games: Zelda, Metal Gear, castlevania, Final Fantasy

If you guys need more, ask.

Nickname by democracy does not sound like a good idea to me. A nickname is personal, something you control. It affects how you are seen across the entirety of OCR (and perhaps beyond).

Besides, what's wrong with NeoS? It's best to keep your name consistent. I've had this one since I first registered for a site (fanfiction.net).

So back to the nicknames... what exactly are you looking for..? I've chosen this name on account of Big O series being a favorite of mine; however I wanted to put a spin on the name as well, thus the intentional mispelling.

(not to mention I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE names with numbers in them)

Also I've got other reasons as well for choosing the name that's closely tied to the character :)!!

Consider choosing a name that you could relate to closely in some ways.

Might I add that when you have a nick and you're a remixer you better stick with it. Another Soundscape sucks ass but if I change it now I'll lose my e-penis!!!

I'm thinking of changing mine actually... I started using Sleepless Dreamer on some places, not entirely different, but not as "videogame name" as this one.

It DOES take away the fanboy-ism. But then again Radical Dreamers is a pretty cool game to be obsessive about.

I will venture to say I believe there is such a thing as very well written stuff by fans, however I can only think of two mentioned by some old friends and I think a poster here. Neither which suffers the cancer that infects fans writings.

but back to the nicknames....

Pick a name from the Megaman/X/Z/NetBattle/StarForce series. so very easy. :D

Yeah Skryp. I think MaZe would fit the bill, since I already used it a few times before. I thought about TAFKAN, but then again, I don't want to be associated with Prince for that matter. :P
