The server is kind of slow... :( Please give it a few tries if it doesn't work at first...

well, since i remixed this into a really slow, boring, melodically simplistic uberfake sounding orchestral track.. i'm intimately familiar with the original.

and i can say while this provides some nice embellishments to the original, it's really just that. the original with some embellishments and it repeats over and over again and then fades out. it just 'sounds' kinda unpleasing too, not an example of good mixing here.

As analoq said, its the original with some minor updates. However, for the most part, this song is exactly the same as the original. When new things are eventually added, like the violin at 1:35, things become to sound ugly.
The key changes are a very bad idea. They just sound... bad.

And thats about it.

Instrumentation isn't so bad, but like the others said there is little originality here, and what tries to pass off as original ends up as amateurish. Not enough.

Basically what everyone said. This is a very limited arrangement. I think the other main issue for me here, is the sharpness of the tambourines. Sounds like it's over eq'd. This needs more focus and a more unique approach. I like the sections at around 3 when it builds up . Pretty decent, but it's not really enough.
