I'm totally diggin' this one. Nice groove throughout, and the ambient sounds really add to the atmosphere. This is great chill music, with really dark qualities. There's a pulse to it that I really like.

No technical issues, aside from maybe a bit too much reverb. There are parts where I feel like the song's going to start clipping, but it doesn't. Cool.

this is the original but softer, slower, and with creepy pads and a chill beat.
i don't think it's exactly note-for-note, but it sure sounds like it.
edit: i gave the original a listen and while he did add a couple embellishments (different bassline) it still follows the original a little too close.

I'm with Ani on this one. Too close to the original, and not developed-enough synths to make a big difference. Chill beat, yes, but a drum groove alone can't carry ambience. Bassline's a nice touch, not enough to save it for me though.

Get some EQ in there, and try to vary your timbres a bit.

Music, being an abstract art, is rather well-suited to conveying the nebulous and intangible concepts of psyche and emotion. And this mix successfully draws on those unique characteristics of music to capture the darker affections and lure the listener in to its little Orphean nightmare.

This is borderline, but enough of an evolution as far as arrangement goes for me. I can't say the original was too pleasing. What makes this mix stand out for me is how the mixer took those elements and created one thick, organic mix out of it. The density here is pristine and enveloping. Drums are slightly repetitive, loopish, but I think it fits the mix.

This is definitely borderline as far as arrangement goes. I love the way this has been mixed and I'm digging the beat, but this needs to go further in terms of arrangement. This could be a great one with a little more of a mix up.
