Ladies and Gentlemen,

http://beatdrop.paletteswap.com/Images/burnout-thumb.jpg (http://beatdrop.paletteswap.com/beatdrop_-_burn_out_ep.zip)

For your listening pleasure, I present the Burn Out EP. It consists of the first 'single' from the new album, Revolution, as well as two remixes of said song, two cover songs, and one B-side from the album. Here's the tracklist:

1.) Burn Out
2.) Burn Out (Mastgrr Remix)
3.) Burn Out (Neslo Remix)
4.) Need You Tonight [cover of INXS]
5.) Fashion Party [cover of Ace of Base]
6.) Here Is Where It Ends

Full artwork is included (as you can see above, although the higher quality cover art is included in the zip along with the liner insert).

Be sure to catch "Burn Out" along with MANY other new songs on the new album, due to be released for free right here on OverClocked ReMix. You can also check out Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3 for Xbox 360, which was just released a matter of weeks ago and also features "Burn Out."

Cheers.

Awesome dude! I'm happy for ya. Having a track included on DDR must be pretty cool.

I'm also gonna download this EP, since it's free. :)
Let me see if I can send some money your way, giving away pure awesome tracks for free hurts the wallet.

P.S: Nice cover art.

Hey, thanks! I aaaaaaaaalways appreciate donations. Always always.

It's actually the second track that Konami's picked up from me for DDR. The first was "Until Forever" from the last album, In The Dark.

Photo in the cover artwork was taken in the town of Laie on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Same with the photo in the liner insert. Just like the song says, "even the sun starts to fade and burn out."

Need You Tonight is seriously very fucking awesome. Like super super crazy awesome.
The rest of the EP kicks ass as well, but I'm a sucker for a great cover song, and this is a great cover song.
So good.

Haha, thanks. I put it together in about 3 or 4 hours. Vocals were recorded in one take. Mr. Lloyd echoes your sentiments.

Yeah no problem dude...I'll see what I can do. I'm definitely not rich, but I'm not exactly poor either.
I still can't believe this is your second track to be included though, well than again I guess I can, since you've got undeniable incredible skill's in the electronic civilization. Your success gives us some hope for our upcoming album.
Good for you man!

Is this game, DDR Universe 3, only for the Xbox 360?
If it is, than that kinda sucks I don't have a 360 and I never planned on getting one either.

Oh, I see how it is :<

Ahaha what??? I like your music too dude. Especially "A Cyberpunk Adventure."
Yeah I'm willing to donate. :)

I dig it my friend. The title track especially. Those funky electronic vocals are delicious.

As always, thanks muchly for you feedback, Mr. Getman. Still more vocal work of all kinds to be found on the album itself, too.

Good christ I had fun with Here Is Where It Ends.

It's much stranger in comparison to the rest of your stuff, and I fucking love it for that.

A lot of the first 40 seconds or so make me think of something from mother 3, if that matters.

Did you have this posted on your myspace page earlier? I feel like I've hear it before.

Regardless, the title track is excellent. The mixes are groovy as well. Keep up the good work, man.

Did you have this posted on your myspace page earlier? I feel like I've hear it before.Maybe you voted for it on OurStage (http://www.ourstage.com/music/archive/entry/NPLOZYJLZBNP-burn-out) or something. I'm pretty sure that's where I first heard it.
Awesome EP overall. Can't wait for the album!

Burn Out was one of the first tracks I finished for the new album, but it was also one of the most difficult to master. It has been put on OurStage and MySpace, albeit probably different iterations from this one at various points. This finalized version sounds considerably different from the very first version of it. Thanks everyone for your comments!

This is excellent....

One question, what does EP mean?

Red Shadow
11-18-2008, 05:53 PM
Extended Play is the term used when an artist releases more music than would be contained on a Single, but not so much as to be qualified a full length album (LP).

Beatdrop just gave us less than 30 minutes of music and is calling it an EP

good to see that your not afraid to take some risks

This should be everyone's attitude. Though it's not often that it actually works as well as Burn Out (but it still works).

Beatdrop

What magnificent theme! What are you talking about?

jmr
11-19-2008, 07:35 PM
He said Magicant, not magnificent.
I'm guessing he's talking about this:

or this:

...
but I can't really see how any of this is relevant to this thread.

Thank you :) Glad to see that people actually enjoy that song. I like to make hard and fast stuff, but I get paranoid that no one ELSE will like it.

As far as I'm concerned, you can be as hard and fast as you want; I'll enjoy it.

When's your next VG remix coming out? :D Revolutions was amazing.

That'll probably end up being sometime after the album is released. I'm running on a pretty tight schedule because after the album comes out IN EIGHT DAYS OMG, I'm due to go home on leave on December 29th, and I won't get back until late January, so I won't have access to music shite until then. That's part of the reason I'm pushing to get this album out NOW, because if I delay on it, it won't be out until 2009. And I'd rather not release two albums in one year, soooooo...
