Me too. I love the original. Kind of codifies my love of the FF7 ST.

Prot nailed it. Drums are way too hot, and even within themselves are unbalanced and awkwardly EQ'd.

Add in some originality, and try to get a more consistent sound level out of the instrumentation. Compression can be our friend. And it can also kill you. It's like a girl.

The drums are wonky. What's up with the loudness? :(

Aside from that its a pretty boring arrangement, which has nothing really going for it aside from that "OMG ITS A ROBOT MARCHING UPON US!!! DOOOOOOOM!" feel to it.

Wow, damn that kick is loud. I thought the 808 boom was going to be the loudest thing, so I turned it up a bit. 8O

The drums need to be balaced out a bit. The kick doesn't need to be THAT hard. The arrangement needs some variation, because this gets boring about half way through; this kind of mix would work as a backing track to vocals, but it's not. Work on this some more and then resubmit.
