Yep, thats a saw tooth. Its dying for some 3/8 delay.

Anyway, this sounds pretty much the same as the original.

i mixed this tune for a 90 minute compo before... and yeah this is a lot like the original. what bothers me more is the production values displayed here, everything is lofi and weak. if you want to feature a song with a sawtooth waveform, listen to basement jaxx. it might give you some ideas.

the mix is hurting for some effects, and some variation. this is just too close to the original, and the lead is too dry.

Sounds a little too GM. add some texture and color with dynamics and reverb, give it a more organic feel.

This doesn't really upgrade the orginal much. I can see what the mix is trying to achieve, but this needs to be mixed again. There are ways of making raw waveforms sound more refined. I would take all of the above advice into consideration.
