I was inspired to write this after watching a movie called Breakin'.

like it says, the song is a "totally 80's" throwback, so that's what you get. It sounds pretty similar to the original tune, but it's still funky. Not Rayza's best work, but funky nonetheless. (Your Shinobi 3 mix will always have a place in my heart) Radical, dude!

This mix is really good ^_^! It flows really well and I love breakdance(-ish) 80's songs. Its a lot different from most of the songs on this site and I think that is for the best...
I still think your Sonic Greenhill mix is the best of you sonic works, but this is definitely in my top 20 list of OC Remix songs ^_^

The genre goes perfectly with the source tune; props to that! Great work here! :)

SHIT! This song reminds me of an old song that was played on the Radio alot... I can't put my finger on it quite. Damn that's gonna be bothering me for awhile.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be dancing to this when the need rises. Good stuff here.

That's what that was? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this in my last post: Kudos to you for not making another Ice Cap Zone remix!

It only took 25 seconds to convince me to download this to my PC! This night has had quite a few great remixes, and this is one of the best. I had pretty much forgotten about this piece, and the melody came flooding back into my head as I listened. Top notch work!

This is bound to make some people cringe, but anyone who doesn't mind that ancient drum machine clinkering and synths that would sound in place in a Prince song will enjoy this little groove, IMO. Nice work, Rayza!

Yeah! So are the OCR peeps as smart as DCT??? I don't know...

As one who was NOT a fan of your WIP that stayed on the forums for a while, I have to say that though still close to the original, you definitely put enough work into it to make it unique. Good job, I like it!

wow...the sample of this song has start running on loop last sundays, and now the complete song ! Dang. i'am curious to see when i'll start to be bored of this. ... playcount:24(loop) cool retro 80 one.

haha. I don't think I can even review this - I'm under too heavily an influence of the 80's to guage what's black and what's white. SENSES OF RIGHT AND WRONG.....FADING!! GARGHHAHHGAHG!111
...nice cheesy drum machine sequencing, and the lead synth is very well done - though I noticed that it's sometimes too quiet. Nice vocoder effects too: maybe used a little too often, but they still don't annoy me as much as general voice warping does in a lot of other things (AHEM CHER).
There's not a lot else to the mix, and I can't say that it's something I'd listen to all the time, but it's very well done for what it is.

lol I can so see this as the theme song for a Sonic TV show. Normaly i'd say that the drums and stuff was done bad if this was a normal song, but since its on purpose it just makes the song better. Ah the times when right was left & break was dance came back to life. I'm just gonna pop this on one day and all & my friends and me are gonna laugh and be doin the Robot. Just the way it made me simle, think back & want to dance like a complete jackass makes it a great song.
Final Score:9/10
Final Comment:Makes you want to dance like a jackass...IN A GOOD WAY!

Call it an 80's fetish, but this mix really killed me. Strong intro, strong beat, everything just clicks. I didn't expect to download a Rayza mix and end up all wide-eyed, but hey.... I'm still searching for my ivory sight-globes, or whatever people call those these days. Best I have heard from this remixer. Damn.

The electric feel at the beginning is a real nice way to start it all off and then the melody just increases that feeling. I feel like im switching between techno and disco. Real neat stuff here. The synth is just the right volume and the background chords arent too loud. Here it comes with all the techno/electric again....this is really nice. Stop is very fitting and then just breaking back into the beat. It all lines up. Drum beats are nice and they really give a nice rythm. I love the mouth organ or whatever that is. This is a really nice song. Keep it up man! I think a fade was the only proper way to end a song like that.

Very nice remix. At around 0:17, the tune reminded me of the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. 8)

This is one of those songs where from the first second I heard it, I knew I was going to like it, and it just keeps getting better. This is fun, funky, and makes me want to get up and dance. And that's no lie. Rayza is quickly moving up the charts as one of my favorite Remixers as I discover more of his work. I loved Guile (R.A.H. Mix), I loved Green Hill ('95 Euroclub Mix), I loved Ice Cap (Frozen Knuckles) Remix, and I love this. Another job well done by Rayza.
impressively good! The groove keeps my head waving for almost the whole song, and the sounds are perfectly chosen.
Small vo-coded text here and there together with sfx keep the interrest along the loop.

Woah, I hated Marble Garden Zone in the Sonic Games, and the song, but I guess now...when I play the level, I'll Play this Remix instead of the Game's Song lol!

Wow. Just...wow. The only possible way to describe this is "funky". Good funky, though. Anyways, I liked the original song (despite the fact that the level, ESPECIALLY the boss, pissed the hell out of me)and this managed to adhere to the original structure pretty well while still providing a very original variation. Definitely going on the favorites list.

80's electronic for the win. This works so well for the Marble Garden Zone, awesome work Rayza, just absolutely awesome, the beat and the music just make this sound even better than it originally did.

This was one of my faves. I loved the 80's vibe. I have a whole family that loves and lives off the 80's. They keep it on their playlist to dance to when cleaning the house. I loved the arrangement and how it was pulled off. It's most definitely my favorite of the Marble Garden songs.

Ah, music to really move to.
I was an eighties baby, and Sega + 80s electronica/synthpop is pretty much my early childhood (before Nintendo corrupted me and made me their whore), so this mix nestles quite nicely into that part of the brain that controls nostalgia.
Really catchy beat, archaic as it may sound. Very nice pacing and momentum. I love how it just keeps on dancing and changing its style on the fly. That is so 80s. That is so Sonic.
I get the sense that Rayza could make slick, fun-as-fuck electronica like this with his eyes closed, but that might be discrediting the tremendous amount of time and effort that goes into making these. For what it is worth, I think the effort has brought about some very joyous payoff, indeed. Yay.

Niice.
No, it's incredible.
Hint: Try singing Thriller to this.
Funky and fun, this is great return to the early 80's, but with a lot of the excellent layering the era itself tended to lack. Nice transitions, and a really solid feel. I dig this one. :-)

I think I'm in love...with this ReMix. Funky, 80's breakin' and good, I mean real good electronica that actually sounds downright robotic. Hell, you even nailed the robovoices. And the fadeout ending leads itself well for the 80's feel that you were going for. Damn, few ReMixes make me want to dance, but this is one of those ReMixes that is hard for me to still to while listening to it.
