That was beautiful!

I rarely enjoy orchestral remixes because they usually sound too bombastic and too much cheesy high-tech.

But yours was a pleasant surprise. I think you really got a good concept with the minimalist idea. Arrangement is great and you utilise each instrument very well to make it varied but still not cluttered or too saturated.

Good instrument sounds and production, nothing iffy there.

The only thing that left me slightly disappointed was the rather abrupt ending.

Now I'm gonna check out who Philip Glass is.

Seriously, I don't have any criticism. I think your arrangement is great, especially considering the brevity of the source. Samples sound good to me too.

Absolutely lovely, shows a lot of restraint that most others don't quite grasp. I especially love the section that goes on from about 1:40-1:55. You managed to do something amazing with such little source.

Anyway, I think I'm done brown-nosing for now; good work.

wow, thanks to all for the reviews and kind words! i've currently got another metroid mix that was just posted on the 'to be judged' list, but as soon as that goes through one way or the other, i think i'll submit this one next.

although i will rework/extend that ending. again, thank you all for the input.
