I keep reading about how awesome everyone keeps saying their mixes are and it continually makes me wish I could hear some of them. Wild Arms is probably my favorite vg soundtrack ever, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Awwwww :) That's good to know! Don't worry, the preview is to be determined right now. Trying to get my old desktop pc working, but the power supply has to be replaced. Just be patient. I'm dealing with the issues and they will get resolved soon. Then I can access my internal hard drive. Emunator is going to help me with it. There might be a kool video to go along with it. Don't know yet.

Level 99, Emunator and I are going to have a meeting hopefully tomorrow and we will inform people of what is next to come for 2011!

Stevo and Emunator both know that we need to finish reviewing the tracks from 2010 before we can proceed with 2011. We are going to work on that this week before MAGFest then I'll be sending an e-mail or PM to everyone out reminding them the dates and to work on their tracks. I expect many WIPs to be worked on. I'm expecting a few finished tracks by March 10th.

After holidays settled down and magfest kicked in and post mag depression kicked in, 2 weeks is pretty much a normal delay in january/febraury. And she does have more important things to focus on than a hobby like OCR at the moment. Everything will be done in its time and we are doing what we can to knock out current updates and feedback. You need to worry when the next submission date comes and no one responds, not in the in between weeks/months. Hang tite!

I decided not to do one since the cut off is in September. Figured it's better as a surprise than a major tease. Still want some more tracks finished any way before I were to reveal anything. This project is under severe secret. Don't mind the way I work, please. ~_^ But I'll think about it and see what I can do.

To let everyone know as well - I have 2 jobs right now and working 50-60 hours a week. Working SUPER hard to pay off my debt and save up for MAGFest X 'cos I WILL be going no matter what! Debt right now in my life is priority, though. Cutting a lot of fun for the time being until I'm back on my feet once again.

I love everyone here and hope we're all still working on our tracks. I sent a message to everyone already who needed to be contacted to inform I'm still alive and hoping to complete this project to start on another one next spring or summer! That one is under wraps so please don't ask what it is. It won't be Wild ARMS 2 or Final Fantasy X. I got something else in mind. I won't be using OC ReMix's forums because I want this project to remain in secret until it's release.

Other than that, please everyone... finish up your tracks. A lot of you are so close in getting done. I know you can do it and move forth. The others, I will be removing soon if I do not hear from them. Want this project out and released by December so please keep in mind that the September 1st deadline is still set in stone.

To JaDE: It's probably better that I don't know about your next project until it releases, for two reasons: 1) I could never appreciate the source as much as Wild ARMs, my favorite PSX game in all its history. 2) In the off-chance that I did, I wouldn't want to see the project at its slowest. Not related to you, but almost every project is destined to run into standstills every now and then.

That's 46 finished tracks out of 78, and the project still has months before the final deadline. It might not make all the tracks, but it'll compete with any other album on here in terms of shear volume. I think it'll be at least as impressive as those other two projects in scale, when it's all said and done.

Well, just looking at some of the names attached, I'd say the quality will be pretty fantastic for a project of this size. I'd say roughly 95% of the remixers are above average quality at worst.

If there's still time, I'd like to help in some way! I can contribute with electric guitar (solo/rhythm), bass and tenor vocals, and I can also arrange The Sky Is Being Torn Apart rock-style (maybe using Omen of Ostracism as an intro). The one thing I can't really do is mixing, 'cause I still don't have good enough gear for that.

I'm not sure if they have equivalent songs on the Alter F OST. The Alter F OST expanded on a lot of the shorter tracks that were used in the original Wild Arms to signal a boss battle or dungeon, etc. but I couldn't find a version of either... so I defer to one of the project directors.

I don't know if you're saying this because I asked about 2 unclaimed tracks... but if that's the matter, I've alredy talked to the project director and she said she's still open for takers - all I'm asking is one shot at those songs. If they don't come off ok until the deadline (September 1st for finished WAVs, right?), no problem, but I'm really willing to try :)

Depending on how "complete" their tracks are... I won't drop them. Just extended certain dates for those artists. I'm striving for at least 60 tracks. It's not too far off from that goal. Not all songs have to be covered. I would still like to release it on December 20th, since that is the 15th anny.

Yes, which is why I still leave open tracks available just in case. This is my own way of working. It is never too late to work on a track. Some tracks don't need to be covered, but I still leave an option for those who want to try because I don't reject anyone in my project. I always give everyone chances.

My 2 questions about this situation is:

*Did ABG's track for A Sorrowful Separation get rescinded for the same reason?

Last I heard, abg no longer had the project file to make any changes to his WIP because of a hard drive transfer and/or crash? Bare with me, this was a while ago. He made more than one WIP and trust me, he never could decide on what to stay with. We had a few changes for him to do. The track is extremely important, as one of the character's father dies as the song plays. We still have the unfinished track by him. It is a very great song, but some necessary changes had to be made and he didn't want to start from scratch so he dropped it.

He also disappeared and for like 8 months, I think it was? Never responded to any of my e-mails and I needed him to sign the content form for the track. It was just a total mess only to find out he was purposely ignoring everyone. Everyone has their side of the story and everyone has their reasons to why they do things, but we both decided this was the best way. Unfortunately the song could have been his best one, but I don't think he cared about that so much.

Jordan also had high expectations for the track and with the changes we wanted abg to make, he promised to fulfill this so he offered to do the track. Once he is completely done with his JRPG soundtrack, he will work on the tracks here.

Hey Jade, do you have an arrangement for the album to be released on 12/20/11 to coincide with the the 15 year anniversary of Wild Arms, or was that just more of a hope? Cause if a project of this scope hasn't went into eval yet and with the length of the album queue, I don't see how it will still be released this year. :cry:

It will be released on Dec 20th. The staff gave me their word. I got nothing to worry about. djp promised me that date at MAGFest IX and recently I was told that it's still fine, just need to send that eval asap to make it easier on them.

I've been following this thread since it was announced back around 2009, and I just wanted to drop by now since it's getting closer to the due date, and say you all are SO AWESOME for making this album! I can't believe it's almost done, too. ^_^ I wish I could remix but I am more of a music appreciator than anything else. xD I've been a fan of Wild ARMs since I was a little kid, playing Wild ARMs 1 when it first came out ages ago... so to now see so many amazing remixers taking interest in it after such a long time makes me incredibly excited all over again! It really is such a great game with an amazing soundtrack haha. Thank you, guys! :)
