Hello sigmakers. Time for more harassment from a needy sigless person. :)

This (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/130/milkywell018kr.gif) background, with a Kirby somewhere around there. This (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/1842/kirbys5zp.png) is a bunch of Kirby sprites, animated would be nice. My name should also be in there of course. I like how it looks in this (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/9052/words4fb.png) font, but anything is good, as long as it's pink. Embellishment is encouraged everywhere! Just make it not look bad. I tried to make my own sig... it was a mess.

Anyone that can come up with anything using that basic stuff, but not using the game sprites, would be much loved. :)

That's actually better than the one I had in mind. A darker, almost matte background and the circus-y tag would be just incongruous enough to work. The image might have to be shrunk a little, though.

The first font would look even more amazing perhaps if it had a sort of "sheen" on it, almost as if you had paused the X intro screen right as the words go "ka-ching" and shine all purty like.

Now that one ain't at all shabby, though I'm kinda looking for a lighter background color, and I'm not too interested in any characters in the front. So actually, kinda like a nice snowy desktop background kind of look. That picture does look awesome to start though, thanks for taking the time on this Doulifee. I really appreciate the time all you signature makers put into making all of us lazy forum goers awesome sigs.

No anime stuff, just a nice background

Lighter background color, (possibly a nice shade of blue? go with what you think works) the design is pretty nice though, just make it a little more smooth if possible. Thanks again for your time!

Someone please answer. I'm dying to know, really. Because if I can figure out how to do this type of thing, I'd be a happy man.

i do the same technique than GZC use. filter and bruhing on an already existing pic, to make my own texture that fit the sig. i start making sig for myself and slowly improve by looking at what the sigmaker here do.

There isnt one particular way to make a sig, there are so many ways of going about it. Personally, I use the smudge tool to shape the designs in my sigs. Then I work in several gradient layers, add some overlaying and coloring and I adjust the lighting on the background to match the render to give it a more natural look (i.e. making the bg dark and shadowy to match the shadowy render)

Then I use whatever blending effects on the render to work them in with the bg as I see fit.

Remember, you can always use tutorials to get the ball rolling.

I don't want any transmutation circles on the sig (any of the symbols). Just something with a nice background (perhaps the house they had as children) and them in the foreground. Any other idea is welcomed as well.

i learn how to do sig by myself, and working here at ocr. Lot of good sigmaker, and idea.

also there is probably lot of tutos outside there for paint shop pro, photoshop or gimp, whatever software you want to use.

Just try and play with them.

If there's a specific thing you want help with, then you can just ask. However, to explain a whole sig might take some more time, especially since we don't know what kind of program you use or how you already know. Plus, finding out awesome stuff by yourself is half the fun. ;)

My point is, if you listen to Doulifée's advice by looking around tutorials and get ideas by others, then you'll surely get good at it. Maybe we can teach you some basics, but the rest is up to yourself.

Would anyone be kind enough to help me out with a sig? I have a pretty good idea going, but lack the skill to finish it off. Basically, I did this through Paint and tried to add some stuff on with GIMP, which didn't work out well.

Its from the picture of Auron with the pyreflies around him. I was thinking of having this is your story in italics on the left side, and then OMT vertically down on the right side of his face. This is where I had some problems and could use some help.

I don't know how often anyone checks this, but I'd like to make a request. I'm tired of not having a sig and I've seen some really great stuff done here. I have no real idea of what I want, but I have provided some pictures I wouldn't mind people using. Choose to use them or not, I'll most likely be happy with what someone can come up with, since I can't. Any of these, or combination (or none I suppose) will make me happy. It's just something I found on GIS last year. I just cut off the bottom of the image (which had the "Pick'em 2005" text on it) and put on the 2006 text. And then I moronically deleted the 2005 image by accident. It doesn't have to be THAT picture, just the basic elements need to be the same.

I have a rather unique request :twisted:

What I had in mind was my name seperated by each letter in vertical rectangles. Each block would stand on its own with the OCR gray around it (however you guys do that, like Doulifee's). The blocks don't HAVE to be rectangles (they may vary a bit), and the letters can be whatever font you think is cool. Though, with each block, I would like a different human eye (real, not drawn), behind it, so the letters I guess are semi-transparent. However that would work, I trust you. Also, I don't want the entirety of the eye to be seen, maybe cut off by the edge of the block or something. Have the whole sig about as high as Kenobio's.

No nasty-ass pus-filled eyes please. As far as colors go... i'm not sure, i'm a happy guy, so take that as you will.
